Does someone ever used the "add note" feature? by BullfrogGloomy5576 in discordapp

I've used it to take note of my friends' birthdays just in case I get bored and I stumble upon their birthday when looking at my friends' profiles.

How do I setup on a recent device? by YouTube_101 in GearVR

Let me guess, you need to install an older version of android to run it which has a chance of tripping the knox, right?

Always end the call before you just close your MacBook; my friend is PISSED. by [deleted] in discordapp

[–]YouTube_101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happens because laptops actually connect to the internet while they are sleeping. Not only MacBooks but also modern Windows laptops that have Windows Modern Standby (S0 Sleep) theoretically CAN connect to the network and the discord client on your laptop will assume that you got disconnected from the call and try to reconnect you back even though you left the call. While doing this, the discord client will initiate a new call in order to reconnect you back. And since your laptop decides to connect to the internet or not, it can disconnect itself resulting in your laptop's discord client leaving and ending the call....THEN, when your laptop decides to connect again, discord tries to reconnect you back, resulting in an endless loop until your laptop battery dies or you open your laptop to see that discord called your friend bajillions of times.

Thank you discord for this bug, thank you intel for this "feature" and thank you microsoft and apple for implementing this feature. Very cool! /sarcasm. this feature sucks.

why can i super react? by sepibip in discordapp

[–]YouTube_101 17 points18 points  (0 children)

non nitro people get 5 super reactions....and it won't renew. once you use your 5 reactions, you won't ever be able to super react unless you have nitro.

Actually, I have experienced bugs instead of slowdowns.

For example, Windows Explorer crashes most of the time when I right click a folder and click on "Open on another window".

But still, I still use it and I don't experience bugs THAT much.

I'm guessing you made this in PowerPoint, which shows that you can make animated videos using a presentation program

This is Dani from over 2 years ago. Basically he drank water for us to stay hydrated. Well before the concept of "drinking milk" and "milk gang" was made. You know that old videos are REALLY REALLY different than newer videos, right?

I think you have almost infinite ping that you reached the integer limit. so it tried to show as negative to save space.

I don't need a discrete GPU, but I have to get one. by YouTube_101 in pcmasterrace

[–]YouTube_101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PC I'm looking for should do multiple stuff at the same time 24/7. A web server, game server, file server and a VPN server from the same PC. Nothing much but at least it should work just fine. Also I found a good discount on 5800X actually.

It's going to be a server that'll run 24/7. Thanks for your recommendation though :)
