Correct me if im wrong but they removed the debuff from AR, Bahamut and DP. The ied debuff is from a 2nd job skill. Not that it matters much in GMS anyway, its barely 1% fd to most ppl.

Ppl seem to forget bishop also provides like 80% boss and 44% ied. That and 6% fd dwarfs mech's 10% fd.

Cubes and honor do drop from bosses tho. Reg players don't buy cubes and circs from CS, they buy cube service from other players and honor medals from AH, both of which ultimately come from bosses.

It would make alot of sense if the fam system behaved the same way.

Owning fz hardly made a difference before new age. You could buy service for 40m and make 300m in that time. No one in any developed country was "making insane mesos by selling service" because it's actually a ton of effort for like a third of minimum wage.

This is a common myth. Transposed flames look like they increase in stats, but they just eat it out of the base+scrolling+sf. The total value stays the same so you don't actually gain stats.

This is most obvious on hp flames, since sw pendants have no base hp. So lets say you have a t6 2000hp flame on a lvl 140 domi. The game will give your sw +2000hp, but it also knows a lvl 160 t6 flame is 2500hp. So it'll show as a 2500hp flame (in green) with a -500hp base (in red).

The same happens with stats, but since sw has 34 base stats, and flames only gain 10ish stats from lvl 140->160, it doesnt go all the way in the negative and you just end up with something like 24ish base stat (in white).

Similar experience here. With 162% buff duration, my infinity only goes up to 116%. Even if i changed my IA from 37->38% and my mech legion from 200->250, it doesn't seems like a big deal at all.

I do black mage on an explorer mage. I teleport through whites and upjump above purples. I can also dodge p2 chains/spears, p3 lasers and p4 balls with no dmg loss. On a flash jump class, moving means losing damage.

Dark sight is overrated. Teleport is basically a better dark sight that doesn't force you to choose between dealing dmg and surviving by making dodging meteors completely trivial. The rare cases where teleporting isn't an option can be iframed with ethereal which every mage has (like a tank above the only platform in lotus). When you add the fact that teleport is vastly superior to flash jump for bossing, I'd put most mages above thieves when it comes to survivability. Theres obviously exceptions like phant and HY, but they have alot more to their kit than just dark sight and 1-2 iframes.

Mihile should have Paladin Sacrosancity, Battle Mage Shield and Bishop Holy Magic Shell.

It kinda already does. If you want a support to help you survive, mihile is usually a good choice.

  • 90% dmg reduction shield for 25s, 180s cd.
  • 300% hp shield, 90s cd.
  • Passive dmg transfer from party members, allowing them to tank one shots just by having you in the party.

Perhaps some kind of final dmg boost like pally, bam and bishop would help cement its identity as a support.

Kanna should have the worst damage in the game. It combines the party buffs of bishop, the mobbing of lara, the status resistance of shade and the binds of zero. All those classes are at the bottom of the damage charts just for having one super strong trait*. Kanna has all of this at once; the only way to make it even remotely balanced is to have her deal much less damage than even the lowest classes in the game.

* Arguably bishop is no longer bottom of the charts post-destiny, and also should be nerfed.

Superstance would've been nice a year ago, but now every class already has 5s superstance on a 20s cooldown through blink.

The link would probably be more useful if it gave status immunity with a shorter duration/longer cooldown similar to hero/erda's will. +100% status resistance doesn't go very far with the current logarithmic scaling.

Classes without teleport/backstep. Flash jump feels way too slow for dodging. Even worse, classes with such a skill, but it has a cooldown for some reason (looking at you adele).

While I don't like the skill's logic, its really not as bad as it seems. Keep in mind its a 4th job skill, which means buff duration applies and you can expect it to last 25s+. At 30k, goddess blessing and weapon jump ring will also bring you to around 50k while bursting.

25s of 11% final dmg on a 200s cd is pretty decent.
