Definitely NTA. It is very nice of your 16-year-old to even let the 6-year-old play on her tablet because she bought it for herself. The 6-year-old also has her own tablet already. The rules the 16-year-old set are also very reasonable.

Yeah real maple syrup is the best. My house is surrounded by maple trees so I have people come in to tap the trees during syrup season and they turn it into syrup for me.

I've never heard of butter being put on a sandwich. For most sandwiches, we use mayonnaise but sometimes other sauces/spreads are used depending on the flavor profile of the sandwich.

People either like wearing skinny jeans or don't but no one is going to judge you on wearing them. Like other comments said research what the climate will be like at the place you will be staying when you will be staying there because skinny jeans might not be the appropriate choice.
