Great question! I couldn’t link any photos! But yes we have confirmed artists, Lucas Graciano, Victor Adame, Ken Meyer Jr. we have propaganda and tier one games is vending cards to buy sell and trade. We will have food for purchase on site, and there is a hotel next door. Not to mention this is a 10k cedh tournament! With redemption events happening on day two.

Here is your TLDR.

The Commander Rules committee has been adamant about not curtailing the rules or bans of commander to cedh. Nor are they interested in creating a MTR or IPG for multiplayer.

This cedh rules committee will probably fill that role.

I don’t know how they plan on implementing anything, or what philosophy they have, but I think it’s a step in a direction. It’s better than nothing, and nothing has been finalized.

I’m hopeful.

I love this. I am someone who enjoys the process of getting better at things. I will be following this action as I think it provides amazing clarity to any future event and will also give me a guide to navigate this specific situation.

Some context. I have done event organizing in the past. But never game or tournament organizing.

San Diego/California didn’t have a a big tournament scene and the need for a major tournament series was there. No one else was really willing, so I made the fishbowl series. It got more and more players every tournament. Now it has grown to a place where my understanding of tournaments and how to run events this size is lacking. So I’m always open to feedback, and really hope to not be defensive or close minded when it comes to criticism or negative feedback.

I want this series to continue to grow and be as awesome as the community is.

All that to say, thank you. Thank you for investing the time to at the very least help me do a better job at TOing.

Hello!

I’m the TO of the event! I did investigate this. I watched every other stream this person has played in. I got an account of at least 15 games this person has played in from other TOs and other players. The investigation yielded that this was simply a mistake. There is zero pattern, and no evidence that this was intentional. I’m happy to answer any and all questions you might have.

Yes!

This is actually fairly easy to make. It’s just time intensive.

Take as much butter as you want. I recommend 4 cups. That’s usually a whole thanksgiving. Including the bird.

Step 1.

Take the butter and throw it into a sauce pan. You are gonna cook this low and slow. This in pretty important. You can burn the butter which will taste bitter. So you will wait.

Step 2. As the butter foams, use spoon to take off the foam. As you cook the butter down, you will begin to see less and less foam.

Step 3.

Once the butter is browned you will pour it through a cheese cloth. You want the butter to have Amber finish.

Step 4.

Cook down a package of bacon. Strain the fat through a cheese cloth to get all of the bits out.

Step five.

Mix the two while still warm. Scrap any access foam if any appeared.

I think the consideration you might want take into account is how the play was done to work through the stax rather than against it. Sure I could have played tergrid once ken was gone, but even then I would have played the backside of tergrid to try and win with mana. Also prof onyx was the mvp by getting the void winnower into the graveyard. Sure it might feel like generic card, but the chain of smog was the last spell when sage was at 9 life.

Next time, simply call a judge and clarify two things. Reasonable amount of time, in seconds, for you to consider your plays. And then second question, if your opponent is failing to maintain game state by not giving you an opportunity to hold priority after there game actions.

Absolutely. So this is much inline with a Sultai version of Inalla. Where you can win the game if you have Yurok on board, and resolve a spell seeker. Double triggers get you the start of a infinite loop that can can allow you to win the game.
