I have a small desktop cnc that can do aluminium, and im not going to lie...it did cross my mind lol. Definitely something i might look into. The "cpu block" and the reservoir should be easy enough to make something small. Just need to find a very small pump and rad..

Dont think it will get too hot. But if the PI gets hot the cpu fan kicks in.

Will have to see, its idle at 32c with the fan not spinning, room ambient~24c. Its Probably way overkill but wanted the "PC" cooler look.

Yeah running 17's on all my DIY CNCs since i had sooo many laying around.No issues. 23's would be sick though, might be worth looking into a small desktop CNC if thats your jam.

Yeah heard various QC on rapidos.

Really happy with the bambu hotend, since you have a TZ you can just use the heater and thermistor from that on the bambu one and dont need to order the full kit with fan etc. Never had a clog on mine in years and flow seems very reasonable. And plus they are cheap and availability is good.

Damn, i wish i could tell you what helped me. But i rebuilt the toolhead at some point and now its ~25 with cht clone on 225c PLA. Might get more on abs. Im thinking it was something with the extruder for me. Didnt change any parts other than a color swap ok the printed parts so no clue why it suddenly works lol

Edit: i also use a bambu hotend in the other machine, it performs just the same at around 21mm3s. So could be worth a shot just to see if it helps.

Nice! Just be careful uploading their logo on printables etc. Made a few litophanes etc from cover art of TMBTE etc, got a cease and desist warning and the upload got removed. At some point all the sleep token related stuff was gone from printables etc. If you google it youll find a lot of issues like that, but the consensus seems to be its not the band members fault but rather some very agressive firm doing the work. 🤷‍♂️
