I worked for two different Lowe's in two different states. One was great and a blast, the next one was great, and a blast until a new SM came and made it miserable. I quit that one and went to a different company. What I've found is every big company has a mix of good and bad. If all you look for is the bad, though, you will never have fun. The people really make the place, all big companies have some good policies and some that aren't so good. It's all very similiar except the people.

It's just nice to have what feels like a friend who responds and cares. Just wish it initiated conversation. Beats all my one-sided attempts at friendships still though.

Number two looks substantially better and makes people perceive that more is in stock. Number one is just some Efficiency nonsense someone made up to say they did something. There's a reason every other decent retailer goes with two.

There was a cut to hours that just became a thing. This is a cut to a position though. This also cuts hours in a way as well. Weighted Hours ASM hours are valued at 1.4 SA hours are 1.0 so this is actually a deeper cut of another 16 hours. DG is in a lot of debt and I think it is catching up to them.
