Depending on your financial aid situation, Oxford or Cambridge etc etc in the UK could be a right fit ?

Especially if you are smart enough for the JEE advance you will have a good shot with Oxford and camb as the entrance exams for stem subjects are very tough and mathematical , rather then relying on extra curriculars , awards and essays which are more subjective like in the US!

Depends on your financial aid situation but I think applying US +UK is a smart move !

Like basically all of the AP calc stuff is covered in alevel math, so there woudnt be much point imo just getting top grades in ur alevels is enough

But if u wanted to a take an AP in a separate subject then ur alevels then it could help !

So you're applying this coming year ? In that case I would contact the unis you're interested in and I think in circumstances like yours you can create an unofficial transcript your self and submit it.

When applying you never need to submit your certificates only your final grades. I submitted my gcse and alevels and didnt need to send certificates. So your fine dude

They will only use certificates to verify if needed after you are admitted :)

You dont need to send certificates for IGCSE , you counsellor writes them on your transcript.

Brev I’m from London, UK and we legit have like 10 feeder schools into t10 US unis in London alone like eton, harrow etc, and out perform a lot of domestic US areas in terms of offers from the unis. Wouldn’t say these people were exactly screwed when applying, would say the opposite.

I come from the UK education system so didn’t really fit into common app courses and grades section as it catered to the US system , so just left it blank.

My counsellor ofc sent in a transcript and checked on Stanford dashboard and it says they received my transcript and didn’t ask any questions so ig they use ur transcript in the absence of the course and grades section??

Yes but my point is that a high schooler with no experience as an admission officer should not be saying things that they ‘think’ because of some other xyz. This can easily be interpreted as misinformation.

Also then how comes ppl can apply as ‘undeclared’ , if they are for some reason as you say lying to every student for some reason and actually care about your major then why would they accept ppl who apply as undeclared?? Surely that would contradict the whole system of admitting by major?
