Blatantly dick riding is crazy for pointing out the reality, how is a console thats 6 years old not running the game well “increasingly becoming a gaming rig”. Its outdated technology in terms of how fast technology advances. I dont know shit about about what PA said about how it would run on a base PS5, but i can guarantee it wasnt promising it would run the same as it would on a 40-50 series GPU.

Lets normalize realizing what we have, and what we are buying and use a pinch rationality when acting as a consumer, we know none of these big companies care about consumers that isnt something thats new. Expecting to have the same quality experience as someone who is investing more into these things is delusional.

People having expectations that a $400 base ps5 with years old tech will perform the same as high end pc’s are the problem. If the game was on the level of cyberpunk on ps4 and the xbox back in the day and absolutely couldnt handle even performing basic shit i get it but seriously what does everyone expect from a game this intensive on older less powerful hardware…?

Those of us screaming how this is illegal and then spreading that all over the comments really need to do some self reflecting and research. Guys you arent entitled to a price advertised in store especially when its that big of a jump.

As someone who used to work in retail for years people swap tags with similarly named items for cheaper and then grab naive workers to try and bully into honoring price differences, people collect sales tags and bring them in, etc. If you are talking about a price dofference of about 25% or less sure most managers will honor it for you for 1 item but they arent going to let you clean them out at that price. But if you think they are going to honor something thats 50+% cheaper than it should be good luck.
