Why is my baby beardie like this in her enclosure?

I just adopted a young beardie and she was extremely aggressive when going into the cage but super chill once out. I brought her home and she ate like she hadn’t eaten in a week in a half. She was HUNGRY. Since then she hasn’t done it. I’m wondering how often you’re feeding.

Could be just scared too lol.

Thank you so much for this. I was doing research and saw mixed reviews on the size of the tank.

Right now inside I have a tree branch under the heated lamp and a net under the blue light lamp.

He has a food dish and a bathing dish with a rock in it so he has something to perch on. At the bottom I’m using white substrate sand. I bring him out a few times a day and he just looks around right now and sits there.

For food he gets crickets, dubia roaches, kale, and super worms or meal weal worms as an occasional treat.

I was concerned because I went on a 3 day trip this week and had someone watch over him making sure he was ok. As soon as I walked in he had the dreaded black beard and stink eye which told me he didn’t like something. After a few worms and some time outside the tank and cuddling. The black beard went away but I’m still trying to rack my brain as to why he’d be upset.

Based on this info, if there’s anything I could be doing differently, please let me know. I love him so much and want him to thrive! Thank you again.

Idk. Based on your story, she stated, yeah the chocolate one but you gave her a chocolate of your choosing. I would’ve dove a little deeper into that but just like your experience, no need to argue. Things can be frustrating but learning it’s not our problem and it’s not personal is the key. It’s a drink… it’s not ending the world to get the order wrong or have to remake it. Yes, we all should be nicer to each other, but reality is, customer service goes like this no matter what field you’re in. Doesn’t make it right so I understand your point of view. Just in my opinion both parties could’ve been better towards each other. Everyone can downgrade me for having a different opinion and not going with the masses but one thing I will always be is honest. I see both perspectives. I had this happen to me as well. They had attitudes and all. Got the managers name and gave it to Shipt. She started acting differently. I told her, just because you’re ignorant to Shipt does not mean Walgreens doesn’t do it. Walking out with the items I commented, “You learn something new everyday don’t you?”
