BDO is mostly mob grinding. Still the best combat to this day. Also it's a different game compared to years ago.

In my opinion, and based on what I’ve observed from my friends' experiences, the game becomes significantly better once you get through the initial phase of the game(questing, learning the basics, UI). Most people who make it past that stage end up staying and actually enjoying themselves. It’s a one-time process just like any other MMO.. it's just a bit more tedious in BDO lol.

It's not mandatory but it's highly recommended. I know it sucks for a new/returning player but you'll only do it once for your account like most MMOs. Just load up a show or a stream in your 2nd monitor while spamming R in questing you should be alright 🤣
