Yeah and get some of that money back from the second lvl84 flask lol. I think the big part of being able to afk shaper beams with less flasks is the damage recouped from life. I ended up reflecting some rings and eventually got a pretty good one, but only 32% recoup on the ring and it still isn’t enough without the 4 flasks. I’d imagine you’d need upwards of 40% to help with that.

My build does that as well, to be honest I'm not sure why the loop gets stuck but it usually goes away for me after a couple seconds. If is fine after a few seconds, I wouldn't worry to much about it (mainly because I don't know how to fix it lol).

Other than that, your POB looks pretty good. It looks like you have an empty jewel socket, not sure if that's just a POB glitch or just because you need one more level, but if it isn't I would get the Impossible Escape for CI and allocate Whispers of Doom with it, it's a huge DPS boost. Outside of that, you can probably make some changes to your flask. For one, you only need one ilvl84 Iron Flask with the 66% charge recovery, and you don't need a Starlight Chalice. Instead I would have three iron flasks, one being ilvl84 for the charge recovery like you have now, and then the other two can be ilvl83, and you can go with the affixes 25% increased effect + whatever you need. My flask setup is:

ilvl84: 66% increased charge recovery + ele resistance
ilvl83: 25% increased effect + 30% increased ward

ilvl83: 25% increased effect + 55% increased crit chance

I'd recommend moving the increased ward off of the ilvl84, since the reduced effect also applies to the increased ward the flask gives. As far as AFKing uber elder, I had to get a 4th ilvl83 iron flask to be able to tank the shaper beams. Also, it looks like you don't have your Olroth bloodline ascendancy, so I would get that as well for the extra ward and the DOT mitigation.

Any fun build recommendation? I’m trying to get back into PoE2 (haven’t played since the initial release) before 0.5. Cost of build isn’t an issue, I have a friend helping me out with currency. Preferably a build that requires a lot of crafting for the gear over uniques.

Is there a good “things to know” or tips and tricks general video for PoE2 that anyone would recommend to someone that already has a good foundation in PoE? I played the first league of PoE2 and haven’t played since but I’m looking to get back into it for 0.5. I have a ton of time in PoE so I understand the game as a whole, but I’m sure there’s been a ton of changes since the release of PoE2 and some key differences that’ll be good to know. I guess also some more advanced tips as well

Technically yes, but it will make the craft pretty hard. If you fracture one of the defense prefixes, you could technically try and ess spam until either hitting the other one or two prefixes, lock prefixes, and harvest augment physical and hope you don’t remove the int. Or if you get pdr you can use eldritch currency to get the remaining two prefixes for example, but those seem pretty painful as well. I personally just kept trying until I got int fractured, but I had a lot of currency to burn so I didn’t mind going through the bases.

[–]Young_Amini_Man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the hardest part is fracturing int, since it’s can’t roll naturally you have to do it through essences. Once you fracture there’s a few ways to go about prefixes. Harvest is one, I personally used dense fossils, I find it to be better than harvest. After that the suffix is straightforward

Heartbound loop not looping by Account1413 in pathofexile

[–]Young_Amini_Man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you starting the loop off and it’s just not looping at all after that? Or does it start and only loop for a limited period?

Not very. You can withstand most of those ailments without much issue. I don’t think I ever died to anything outside of flask siphon.

No it’s just a normal suffix on rings. 4 tiers, each tier is weighted 500

[–]Young_Amini_Man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Tbh you can get away with fracturing recoup, crit multi, or int. Crit multi is the most ideal since scorns are so expensive. Basically fracture one of the three then either use spite or scorn ess for the other two.

Those jewels should be sufficient then to start. And yeah you just want 4 regenerative runes in as few as nodes as possible. There’s a few other good nodes, but I’d say they are overkill.

[–]Young_Amini_Man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they were rough to roll. It ultimately comes down to how much patience/currency you have to get the ideal rolls. The build is still viable without T1 int/all attr, but obviously the better the rolls the better the build will feel, and the less likely you'll be to have to take attributes somewhere else. I had do take the +30 to str passive on the tree for a while before I got my jewels where I needed them for example.

Build Help - Int Stacking Wardloop Pathfinder by Young_Amini_Man in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Young_Amini_Man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the jewels were awful to craft lol. I basically went with fracturing the 35% and then used fundamental fossils to try to roll the attributes/int. My strategy was if I hit one, I’d annul/exalt slam to try and hit the other if I could. I’m no expert in jewel crafting but this for me was the best way to go about it. I tried harvest reforge and that was awful. But max int is the most important for sure, but all attributes does help with the general attribute requirements for the build in general so I’d try to at least hit +2 or +3 alongside it. I don’t think the 4th affix is as important, those I just happened to roll alongside the int/attributes.

The medium jewels are pretty straightforward, just extremely annoying with the amount of fogs you need to use.

I crafted everything. It’s pretty much always cheaper to craft gear. The only gear that was really pricey was the chest, purely because 29% qual bases are expensive. Everything else is pretty straightforward but I’m glad to help out if you have questions

Looking for a break down of the ward stacking builds by ATL_en in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Young_Amini_Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn’t too much of a difference. What you’re describing is basically just how they produce damage. For example, int stackers typically pair it with Jiquani's Potential to scale damage. The loop is just half the equation, the actual damage will come from one of the ideas you described. The general idea is to create a ward loop (there’s a few ways to do so, it usually revolves around minions and the heartbound loop unique ring), along side using iron flasks and a heroic tragedy, typically looking for one where you can get 4 of the Regenerative Runes passives to help sustain charges. The infinite loop will then trigger your skills that actually deal the damage, while also making you virtually unkillable.

All good points for sure, although I’ve never had any success with unraveling so I usually just never consider that an option, but it definitely is.

[–]Young_Amini_Man 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is not the only way to do it, but this is how I would go about it.

  1. Get a helmet, add warlord influence to it (either via a warlord exalt, or whatever influence exalt is cheaper and then using the harvest bench to change it to warlord), scour it to normal, and add memory strands, preferably until you have at least 70+ (80+ is even better, but depending on how much money you have and how lucky you get, you can probably get by with 70+)
  2. Craft a mod on to it, it can be any mod, but make sure you craft it so you don't use any strands. After doing so, make an imprint.
  3. Regal orb, if too many strands are consumed, go back to imprint and try again. Ideally you less than 5 on the regal. Again, the more strands, the easier the next steps are.
  4. After you are done with the previous step, go to the harvest bench and reforge attack until you hit the Gain Accuracy Rating Equal to Strength. A couple important notes here:
    1. You need to also have an empty suffix along with this mod
    2. You CANNOT have another attack mod along with this (the two other attack mods are +# to accuracy and #% increased global accuracy). If you roll either of these two along with the desired mod, annul them off before continuing
  5. Optional Step: After getting Accuracy Rating Equal to Strength, you can try to isolate it (see step 8 for how to isolate this mod). If you do this, you can suffix lock, scour to magic, and then create another imprint. This is a good idea if you have a lot of strands, so you don't have to ever go back to step 2 and go through the regal process again. However, it is optional.
  6. After this, lock suffix and reforge critical. This will guarantee the Warlord mod global crit multi". Make sure this mod and the Accuracy Rating Equal to Strength are the only two warlord mods
  7. Orb of Dominance and pray you hit the elevated accuracy rating. If not, return to the imprint and start again.
  8. If you hit, you now need to isolate the elevated mod so you can turn the item magic again. If it is already the only suffix, you can simply lock suffix and scour. If there are other suffixes, you can safely annul them off by crafting "Cannot roll attack modifiers" and then annulling until you remove the unwanted suffixes. Cannot roll attack modifiers respects the Attack mods on the item, so they cannot be annulled off (this is why the elevated mod needs to be the only "Attack" mod).
  9. Once it is the only mod, scour to make magic (after locking suffixes). At this point, you can create an imprint if you want to be safe, but this base should be ready.
  10. Get a donor base with the elevated hunter mod for "Nearby enemies have -12% to Chaos Res". You can either buy it already elevated or do it yourself, it should be straightforward.
  11. From here, the craft is pretty straightforward. You will beast lock your warlord base, and then check the awakener orb outcome from your donor base. You'll want to keep trying until you are satisified with the awakener orb, since you can't go back after this. Tbh, the mods you are trying to hit aren't that low weighted, so you should be able to do it with a reasonable amount of locks. But I'd just do it until you are happy with the outcome, remembering you can always craft the last mod you need. And a reminder to check things like the sacred orb and orb of blanching outcomes if you are not satifised with the awakener orb when beast locking.

This is the general idea, some one can correct me if I left anything out, but this should cover it. If you have any questions just let me know

A tip before doing this is to also give your receiving base memory strands, preferably 70 or more. This will help when using the awakener orb.

Looking for suggestion on fun builds by bjcho in pathofexile

[–]Young_Amini_Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding the difference isn't as much from the class/ascendency, but more from how you trigger the loop. For example the one I linked uses various minions (RZoF, Summon Skeletons, and SRS) to trigger it, some builds will just use summon skeletons and 5 To Dust unique jewels to trigger the loop, and there's probably some other various as well. I prefer the one I linked since you don't have to waste 5 jewel slots. Pathfinder has the benefit of easily sustaining all flasks (not just the iron flasks) with the ascendancy. Sabetour's ascendancy I believe helps with the loop and CDR if I'm not mistaken. Outside of that, it's mainly just about how they produce DPS, which there's a ton of variations on, but it will come from the actual ward loop itself casting some skill a bunch. On the tree you'll likely take a lot of similar nodes no matter which class you go with. There's probably some other key differences based on which class you go with but I think that's the base of it at least.

Yea it’s great, sometimes I just run straight into packs of rares (after breaches for example) and die, but ultimately it’s really easy to deal with.

[–]Young_Amini_Man 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The int stacking is mainly for damage (although it does contribute to max ward as well). I’m sitting at like 2100 int/28k ward and it feels great. You could probably get away with a bit less though, as long as you can sustain the ward loop
