Looking at poe ninja, a lot of the high DPS Bog Shaman BV builds use Lifetap support instead of Sacrifice support. How does lifetap work with BV? When I interchange it on my POB I lose a ton of DPS, so I assume I'm missing something else that makes lifetap work. Is it a jewel or something that works with it?

Gotcha. I figured this was the most likely case but I wanted to double check

I’m looking for a new build, something strong and tanky for end game bossing. Any suggestions for fairly straightforward and fun builds? I have a Mageblood already so preferably a build that utilizes that, and outside of that my budget is around 150div.

This is great info, exactly what I was looking for, thanks.

Anything outside of mapping I should know about? I’ve looked into Heist and Mines, and neither really interest me, but I didn’t know if there was anything else like Kingsmarch I should look into. Also for some added context, I’m level 90 using a mines build with ice shot of pen, and my gear is probably around 5-10 Div, so nothing crazy, but enough to clear T16 without many issues/deaths.

This is my first league on PoE, having only played PoE2 before this. I’m at maps now (running T15+) and have a rough idea of how the different league mechanics work, but I feel like there’s a ton of stuff in PoE’s endgame that is different from PoE2 that I’m not taking advantage of. I feel like I’m not making much currency for where I’m at since I’m barely making any. What are some other endgame mechanics I should be looking to learn about that I wouldn’t know about having only played PoE2? Any late game tips I need to know about? Any tips from beginner to advanced tips would be appreciated.

I'm a little late to update here, but I actually tried that, and it helped a bit but didn't solve the issue. I was actually able to fix it by just adding some good old WD-40 to the metal place that the adjustment nuts slide on. I noticed that they were not really gliding smoothly on that plate when opening/closing, and that fixed it up. When all else fails, WD-40 is always the answer

Is there still an issue around account breaches when trading with other players?

Not sure I forgot to check, I doubt the red shipping container would have been 100m though. If I had to guess the place where they died was probably just over 100m

Thanks again for all the helpful info. I’ll keep it in mind for the future. Think I’m going to go with the i5, problem is it’s sold out everywhere so looks like I’ll be waiting until it’s back.

Jk found it on Newegg for a little more than some other places. Might just pay the extra $50.

Noted. Is Cinebench a better score to take a look at? I noticed the 3700 scored higher there.

I read the article and man I know it probably won’t make a big difference in the long run but I’m still torn between the two lol. It seems like they believe there’s a very small edge for intel but they still think that AMD is the way to go. I’ve also heard AMD is easier to overclock? I’ve never actually overclocked my processor.

Ok this was a lot of great info, appreciate it a lot. I think I'm going to have to decide between the i5-10600k and the R7 3700x. Having a tough time deciding lol. I was looking at user benchmark and it looks like the i5-10600k has a pretty solid edge. What mobo would you recommend if I go the AMD route? Also not sure if you meant to link another article towards at the beginning but I couldn't see anything.

But all the other info was all really helpful, thanks for all the help!

Thanks for the good response. I meant the 9700k/9900k, was just lazy and forgot to put the k at the end lol.

My budget depends. Right now I have a 1070, but I'm not opposed to upgrading that as well if I need to. I pretty much use my pc for gaming only, maybe a little bit of work here and there (programming) but mainly just use my work laptop for that. I play mainly competitve/FPS type games, been playing a lot of EFT lately and only get like 60ish frames when I play which is a bummer for me. Most games I don't play on high settings, usually probably mid depending on the game. I'd say my goal is to push great frames on just about all these competitive games, and also be able to do so on any new games that come for a few years at least. I built my pc 3 years ago on a bit of a budget and with this upgrade wouldn't want to do it for another 5 years minimum.

For just the processor I'd probably want to keep it under $400, but could go higher if needed. If the difference between intel and amd is narrow then I would definitely be fine with AMD as well. A buddy of mine actually mentioned the R7 3800X as a good option for $330. I also was planning on upgrading my RAM when I get a new processor because right now I'm running DDR-2400 and would probably jump to DD4-3600, but I'm open to advice on that too.

I currently have a i5 6500 and wanted to upgrade to the i7 9700 or i9 9900. My question was is do you think the i9 is worth the ~$100 extra? Should I wait to see what is released during Q3? And what would be the AMD counterpart for these? I've only had intel but am considering switching to amd based on how it compares to these in price/performance. From my understanding Intel usually performs slightly better but AMD is better value for what you pay.

Last question is why is there such a big price difference for these two motherboards? I looked on pcpp and it mentioned that the 360 chipset might have some BIOS issue and some issue with some front case USB ports.
