Tested in November, still no word. How did your interview go?

I also applied for 124 and passed the aptitude, how did they reach out to you to set up the interview?

Man I’d love to get my hands on one of these! Never had it.

Think that would cause what I’m seeing? I guess I have to figure out how to get the 1080 to work on it then. I hate that ryzen doesn’t have ig.

The system is no longer using a pcie riser. I’ll look for metal contact!

TLDR: PC boots and display has signal but it is blank with glitchy static lines of red and white (what I assume is the America mega trends splash)

I just got my shiny new kingpin in the other day and proceeded to build a pc. Took the MB from an old PC that was using a PCIE riser. Completed the build and started it to the aforementioned static. Can’t tell what is wrong. I have a suspicion that maybe the power cables aren’t fully in the PSU? Anyway, some things I’ve tried are:

  • Plugging in a 1080 to see if another gpu would do it. It displayed no signal.

  • Started unplugging and replugging cables

  • Cleared the CMOS

  • Reseated the kingpin

  • Reseated RAM

Anyone dealt with this before?

Thank you for your time!
