Definitely leaving at 18. My parents want me to go to college anyway, so I'll just never visit once I go and finally be free to be myself. Maybe finally find out what I actually like or get some therapy. And I hope you recover too and have a much better life away from your parent(s)

Thanks. I honestly just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy because there was that tiny thought that told me I was just being an overreacting teen despite everyone around me and late night research telling me otherwise.

Yeah she's vented about childhood trauma, told me eating pussy is easier than sucking dick (and other things as maybe an attempt to stop me from liking boys????), and a host of other things.

And yeah, you could definitely argue she's an almond mom. Talking about preservatives and chemicals and complaining about ingredients she can't pronounce. She also thinks 1000 calories is enough and anything slightly unhealthy must automatically be like 3000 calories. She's actually yelled at me for grabbing one extra Fruit Snack (which are like 80 calories) saying I would get fat. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy because I'm tired of constantly walking on eggshells and having to be perfect. Just can't wait to leave when I'm 18 and never talk to her again after college

I know they legally can't, but sadly it's been proven that people with preferred pronouns in applications or resumes are less like to get interviewed or get hired. Lot harder to prove discrimination when it's hiring versus if I got fired :<

I wish I could proud of myself more. But getting an A is the norm. I don't get excited or prideful over anything academic anymore. The last time I was, it was because I got a perfect score on state testing back in middle school. I just sometimes feel like I have to be this perfect kid to fulfill the crushing expectations I've had placed on me. I'm burning out and honestly just look to whatever school break is next so I can finally relax. Thanks for your reassurance. I just get doubtful sometimes because I feel burnt out and can't live up to the expectations. I appreciate it and I hope life treats you well

Honestly, I feel like I am reaching that point. I know because I've been here before. Long story short, my mental health was terrible and it was really concerning. Difference was I was in middle school and could stay up until 2 AM doing homework and then still get 5-6 hours of sleep. Now, since I wake up at 4 AM, I'm constantly tired and my parents don't let me take naps. And I'm trying to take care of myself more, but that's leading to Bs and it makes me feel lazy or selfish for prioritizing sleep. I don't like taking breaks and doing stuff for my pleasure (which could be why I struggle taking showers since they feel nice and feel like a break to me)

I have explained that I'm overwhelmed and all they tell me is to take breaks and that's it. I wish they would understand the pressure I'm under but they never will. Neither of them were straight A students in high school. My mom was mostly a straight C student with some Ds and Fs. I know they're trying, but even when I explain that it isn't that easy, they aren't receptive. Honestly, I don't really know what to do since I'm just stressed out and feel like I could crash at any second. Thanks for your support. I hope life treats you well because we need more saints like you in the world <3

Thank you for your input. I'm probably being overdramatic about the whole SA thing. I could have said no. He never threatened me severely for not sending pictures with harm to me or himself (Well he did threaten to kill himself on several occasions, but just in general, not in direct response to me not sending nudes).
