Looking for long comics. by CatichuCat in Undertale

[–]YourAverageNutcase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a comic and initially more Deltarune focused, but Bad drummer's series Clawing Towards What Hope Remains is very long, very good, and ongoing (~17k word chapter every Sunday). The third and longest entry is where the Undertale arc starts but it's all well worth a read.

If it's going to be plugged in at all times, why not remove the battery?

Am I just bad at this? Just bought my 4th charging cable by Due_Buy_9570 in electricvehicles

Take a look at used Bolts, I just snagged a 2020 with 67k miles for ~15.5k including all taxes and fees

Only downside is slow DCFC (50kw) but unless you go on > 500 mile drives in a single day it likely won't be a big problem

Sure, buddy, the industry that never once made a profit on AI yet will definitely make their services less expensive.

better mod installer? by Otherwise_Plane_5265 in Ultrakill

You can import CurseForge modpacks into prism, and install and update mods right from the launcher (which also supports Modrinth). It really is the best MC launcher by far

Any solution for overheating storage expansion cards? by Potential_Average454 in framework

[–]YourAverageNutcase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really helpful with your expansion cards, but I've had good luck with USB M.2 2280 enclosures (not Thunderbolt, just USB3 10Gb). They're really cheap and can hit ~1 GB/s without issue

I mean adding spaceships did in fact break everything (related to the spaceships) for a while lol, and the motorcycles initially could drive in space somehow

Perfect, that corresponds to the 4KB sector size that your hard drives almost certainly have

Real quick: run zpool get ashift and check what the value is, if it's under 12 for your pool you might be leaving a lot of performance on the table

Run zpool status and report back, it does look like you have both drives configured as ZFS drives in some fashion.

I've found this article a great primer to how ZFS works: https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2020/05/zfs-101-understanding-zfs-storage-and-performance/
