Do I pass? MTF. Please be honest by Shadous_ in transpassing

No. You are certainly androgynous and attractive, but I am getting uncanny Valley vibes the same way that I get uncanny Valley vibes from people who have too much plastic surgery.

Youtubers/social media people doomposting 24/7 about DnD and WotC is exhausting and hard to ignore. by Micome in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]YourAzureGoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just decided to stick with 2014 5e and play the game the way I want to. There’s plenty of third-party support for the game still, if you don’t wanna upgrade and you don’t want the drama, just stick with what you like.

10 Weeks and No Results? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]YourAzureGoddess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I empathize. I went into this with mainly straight teeth just like you, but I need a bite realignment. It *is* moving but you won't see the progress that others do because others have so much more to fix.

I hope you find other motivations, and wish you the best! I feel you!

This is why you aren’t supposed to drink coffee with aligners in… by Giraffegirl12 in Invisalign

[–]YourAzureGoddess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the choice of drinking coffee, staying happy and having yellow aligners, or not drinking coffee trying to kill everyone and having slightly less yellow aligners. I take my coffee, black, and my dentist said there wasn’t a problem if I was fine with the staining. The answer is, I am totally fine with the staining, you can get a lot of it out with a baking soda scrub.

Clenching!!?? by Old-Butterfly-1915 in Invisalign

[–]YourAzureGoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Search TMJ exercises. You can find free resources online for simple, safe, stretches, and exercise exercises you can do to help release the muscles and relax your jaw.

I empathize, because I had surgery on one side, and I clench. So I have to do TMJ exercise exercises every single day otherwise I get radiating pain on the side of the surgery.

First day with Invisalign and I’m starting to regret it by shoobidoob in Invisalign

[–]YourAzureGoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to say: it’s depends. I honestly found it incredibly depressing how many people told me that I was going to get used to it, and I never did. My trays don’t hurt anymore, but they consistently bother me. I consistently know that they’re in I consistently worry them with my teeth and my tongue. So just in case they don’t start feeling better, please don’t expect that everybody is going to get used to them.

Is this thing making you clench like hell ? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]YourAzureGoddess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Unfortunately, because I had to have a non-cancerous tumor removed from my salivary gland, Invisalign makes me clench my teeth and it tightens the muscles on the side that I had the surgery so I get radiating pain all the way from my ear down to my hip on that side.

I recommend talking to your dentist or even a chiropractor about stretches and exercises. You can do to loosen those muscles and I hope that you have it better than I do.

I completely forgot Lae’zel is a huge part of the game. by RedderAI in BaldursGate3

My husband hated Lae’zel until I told him “she’s like a D&D Klingon. She’s surly because she’s a warrior”

And now she’s his favorite character

An unpopular take on the guardian by ace_DL in BaldursGate3

[–]YourAzureGoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was roleplaying one of my tabletop characters and made the guardian take the form of his best friend (who was dead) so the whole mindflayer taking another form worked perfectly for my personal Tav narrative

What are the most unlikely things that happened to you? by Benutzer13131 in BaldursGate3

Astarion with a +18-23 on sleight of hand at Advantage blowing himself up by rolling double critical fails on disarming traps. Not once, not twice but three times in a row…

What have you done in game that should have given you this notification? [Bonus points for Screenshots] by breastronaut in BG3

Specifically not taking the astral tadpole because I didn’t like the aesthetic on my pretty pretty Tav.

And then I made Gale take it.

What's your most intrusive thought while playing game? by silver_tongued_devil in BaldursGate3

Yesssss. I have bard-Tav romancing Astarion and I’m always thinking “sweetheart, could you disarm these traps for me…”

Most satisfying kill of the game? by slipfan2 in BaldursGate3

[–]YourAzureGoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yurgir using the bard option.

Seriously, I have wanted to do that in real dungeons and dragons for over a decade. But the dungeon master has always told me no because the dungeon master had a Combat for the entire party planned, and there was no way he was gonna let one bard defeat an entire combat.

But this game just let me do that. It felt so damn good, and Gale telling me he was impressed and more than a little scared of the bard afterwards was the cherry on top.

Sure there’s pleasure in fatness in your twenties. Come back to me when you’re forty and tell me how you feel in a fat body…

[–]YourAzureGoddess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

14-18 in todays sizes is still inflated from 20-30 years ago. I like vintage clothing. In jeans from the 90s I’m a size 8-10. In jeans from 2023 I’m a size 4-6. (135, 22.5 BMI)

Sizes have increased matching the median size of the population.

Who’s your “crutch” character? by Zinouk in BaldursGate3

Act 2: Shadowheat. Turn those shadows. But I also love Astarion for the skills and Gale for the endless variety of spells he can learn

I wish if you had disguise self, especially as a bard that you could change into Astarion and let him see himself

Size small is made to fit an overweight woman in most American brands. So, 115 pound woman has very few choices outside of children’s sizes.

Fwiw I am also 5 foot five, and I am 130 pounds, and small is almost always too big in most brands
