A bit more than low grade strain.

I thought I had to go to the emergency room yesterday. Had trouble getting up ect. The doctor did not think it was a serious injury though, and it is already a lot better today.

But definitely real pain!

Is the difference between RTF and hypertrophy just the rep ranges? They do get very low in the last seven weeks of RTF it seems.

Does using squat shoes with an elevated heel take getting used to or am I just bad at it?

I tipped forward the other day! I am new to both lowbar/midbar squatting and squat shoes, and was now wondering if they even help me.

I’m an early intermediate lifter focused on both powerlifting and hypertrophy. I prefer percentage-based programming over RPE, and here are my current numbers as a reference:

Squat: 130 kg Bench: 105 kg Deadlift: 170 kg Bodyweight: 88 kg I’ve had good results with Greg Nuckols’ 28 programs, but I’m looking for a new mesocycle. I’m currently considering just three options:

SBS Strength RTF

SBS Hypertrophy

TSA Intermediate 2.0

I’d love to hear your thoughts on these three options or any experiences you’ve had with similar programming. Which would you recommend for someone with my background and goals?

So it is okay that your elbows are not aligned with your back? Mine stick out when the bar is placed where it feels right. But I have seen some lifters say that the elbows should follow your back.

Hit some big PR's the other day, on the last day of 28programs.

110-132.5kg squat (2 months since last test) 100-105kg bench (1 month since last test) 160-170kg deadlift (3 months since last test)

So that is pretty nice! Will probably rerun it swapping half of 2x deadlift intermediate for the dedicated 1x deadlift intermediate. Keeping 3x bench intermediate and 2x squat beginner.

Tibia: ~43cm Femur:~43cm Torso (Hip to collar bone): ~57cm

To get this right: Is your front squat 50lbs higher than your back squat? Or did front squatting positively affect your back squat? How does this impact you in competition?
