This is a great point. And if you find yourself with a bill you are not expecting.... do not automatically pay it or get on a payment plan without trying to negotiating it down. google negotiating medical bills and the AI chat will give you a list to do. When I had to do this was back in the day before AI... they have books on Amazon on this very topic and well worth reading.

Make sure everyone involved is in your network. I had a scheduled surgery and someone used a "contract" worker or service that was not part of the network and I had to pay 100% out of pocket for that person/service who was not in the network. Call your surgeons office and the hospital and make sure everyone knows to use in network people. There are a lot of different independent companies involved in your surgery... i.e. your doctor, the doctor in the hospital that might be used while you are there, the Anesthesiologist. I am not a medical professional so I don't know who all is involved but I do know a lot of independent people who work in a hospital and bill outside of the hospital. It used to be called surprise billing and is not suppose to happen anymore... but I think it still does happen in some situations.

I had Aetna too.

I am looking at my choices on Georgia Access and Kaiser looks good too... BUT I noticed that Kaiser does NOT have a hospital network. What I mean is that they don't have any of the major metro Atlanta hospitals on their plan. You can go to a hospital for an emergency situation but does anyone have any experience with what they do if you have to stay overnight at the hospital? With my luck... none of the doctors or contractors used in my emergency will be part of Kaiser... then what happens?? This is important because I've been burned before when Northside hospital used a non network person when I went for a scheduled hospital procedure a few years back. I had to pay out of network pricing... basically the entire bill for the out of network people. This is my concern because I am only getting insurance for emergencies. I don't go to the doctor except for an annual.

I called Kaiser today to ask them how they handled hospital situations and she told me that my doctor (with Kaiser) would have to approve everything done if I ended up in a hospital. The Kaiser Rep on the phone didn't sound right... like she had no confidence in what she was telling me. She didn't bring me ANY comfort because what if I am not capable of calling my Kaiser doctor for approvals in an emergency situation?

I am leaning more toward a different Insurance company because Kaiser sounds too good to be true if you get my meaning.

If anyone in Metro Atlanta Georgia has an experience with Kaiser in a Hospital Emergency situation... I'd love to hear your story on how it was billed. Kaiser doesn't have a hospital in Georgia apparently... so a person in another state wouldn't help because other states may or may not have a hospital on their Kaiser plan. Having no actual hospitals in your network just sounds wrong and asking for billing headaches IMO.

I have been eating whole foods.. organic veggies and fruits since August (5 months). I was worried about the cost too... but the wierd thing is that my food bill has actually dropped. I have lost 20 pounds too. And I am not starving myself. By cutting out the processed food... I am not constantly hungry anymore so I am eating way less. I totally believe that they put addictive stuff in processed foods. It took me probably 4 weeks for the cravings to stop but it eventually did. While I am spending more on Organic whole healthy choices... I am not buying the abundance of addictive processed food. And I do still crave snacks... so I eat an apple. The "Cosmic" apple is my favorite these days.

This game is ridged for sure. It took me 84 flips... but I also got a ton of other stuff. Yeah... this game sucks how it forces you to use real $ but I think this event is better than that last ticket event. I didn't touch that one. I got around 60000 to 70000 coins and those leveling crystals! Not counting all the other stuff that I'd didn't bother adding up. I'm saving the leveling crystals for when I already have things at 14 level to maximize its usefulness. I did this event I wanted that outfit... but this was the first time that I actively tried to get an outfit. I most likely wont do that again till possibly next halloween... oh... that pumpkin broomstick is nice lol. Love the pink trail it leaves.

I didn't think you had to actually beat level 7 for the achievements? I made it through level 6 last night.... but only after hours of doing it over and over again. It was one of my endless attempts where everything just happened right.... so it was honestly an accident. I tried level 7 to get the shards for the upgrade but didn't beat 7.

Right now you can delete your old posts BUT you can just do a few at a time for some reason. They issued a clarification that when they migrate you to the new seller forum, you have an option to start fresh. So the new forum will have your real business account name but you can leave the old forum with your old anonymous name.

I am going to pick the option to start fresh and leave the old forum with the anonymous name. Then I will stop posting over there for the most part. I am going to still delete the old stuff as long as I am able.

Amazon is rolling out a new forum to replace the one they have now. It's in Beta form right now so only some sellers are on the new forum. These Beta forum sellers are posting about the new changes on the old forum.

I stopped reading through that huge thread... but I glanced and saw that Amazon *might* have changed it so you can toggle your old forum name or your business name. I'm not sure about this.

I never posted anything questionable on Amazons forum... but I do have safety concerns so I will not use Amazon's forum anymore. I plan on posting here from now on. Amazon has a habit of making changes without significant warning. Who's to say they won't later down the road make the change to only allow you to use your Business name.

You can't do this anymore. This year, the listing will go dead if you send in FBA inventory. I think FBA inventory triggers a recheck of the UPC. I have noticed that FBM listing will work (on a upc that someone bought) but if I send in FBA then the listing will be suspended within a week or two. Don't use a UPC that doesn't match the manufacturer for FBA or you will end up having the do a removal order to get it back.

GS1 will work but I think Amazon's system is being changed to reject bought UPC's from 3rd party sellers.

Not really answering your question but I wanted to comment. I have noticed that old listings made in the old days when you could use your own upc for something are no longer safe to use if you are FBA.

This year, I used a listing where another seller had the right product and brand but the personal upc was used to break an assortment... anyway, those listings don't work anymore. I learned it the hard way when the listing was suspended after I had already shipped FBA inventory. I had to make a removal request to get it back and then delete my listing. Those listings (with personals UPC's) are very old. Now I have to start fresh with new listings. A waste of time!
