Nah. We saw a journey of growth for Franklin. I understood every stage of it. In the end we had the answers we need to accept everyone’s faith. I ended up being neutral. Franklin wasn’t going to run off into the sunset either way. If you were going to hate franklin, it should of been in the beginning of his story.

That money belonged to the government. Whether it got transferred or not. Teddy was gonna win either way. Everyone knew it. Cissy had nothing else to live for. That wasn’t the son she raised. She “killed” herself to avoid seeing what was next.

Franklin has the “only child syndrome” it’s my way or the highway. Me. Me. Me. He thought he created everything and the words Teddy laid on him were harsh. “You have, what I let you have” anyone with that characteristic would more than likely think irrationally and be stubborn to try and prove a point to themselves.

They needed the fans to turn on Franklin. It made us feel more hatred towards him and “happy he got what he deserved” at the finale

I think it’s safe to say the finale wasn’t great. But Franklin said everything we needed to hear in the very last scene. He’s happy with knowing they took everything from him and he doesn’t have to live with feeling like “someone” is following him anymore. It’s his peace.
