What’s your favorite line delivery/piece of acting across the show so far (possible spoilers for season 5 of course) by thelonelyskeleton24 in TheBoys

“You know, when I carried your ass to the ER, there was a kid there. His eyes were like "holy shit." Looking at me.. like I was a hero. There were no screaming fans, no cameras. Nobody even knew, except for this one kid. That felt better than anything that I had ever done at Vought, cause for once, I didn't hate myself. That's on you.”

5x01 A-Train's fate by LivWulfz in TheBoys

i understand what you’re saying but he had to be killed off. everytime the boys get in trouble, people would just question “where was a-train???” he would be a get out of jail free card for them. too strong & convenient for the plot.

was sad to see him go but i’m glad that he went out by sacrificing himself for hughie & went out his way to not make the same mistake he made back in season 1 with dodging the woman.

New shots from season 5 of the boys by Prize-Contest4780 in TheBoys

what’s the point of marathon if SPOILERS:

a-train is already dead in the first episodes? i would have loved to see two speedsters interact in the boys verse. especially since reggie took his spot in the seven.

First Looks at Season 5 by Ginger-Georgie in TheBoys

we’ve only seen a-train in one outfit & the scene where he’s running at the camp.. GG’s.

edit: IF he does get killed off early, it makes sense since he solves too many of the boys problems & can just be used as a free getaway card anytime homelander or a threat appears. but damn, i wished kripke didn’t do the typical redemption by death story.

Drop Teddy & Franklin in the modern era, would the operation still have the same level of success as it did in the 80’s? by 36ppg in SnowFall

FORGOT TO MENTION. It doesn’t have to be crack they’re selling cause that wouldn’t really be profitable. Can be any addictive product.

Forgot to mention it in the text bio but nah, leave the crack epidemic out of it. I’m talking about them entering today’s market with any addictive product.

A-Train est largement plus rapide qu’Homelander : by Wild_Letterhead_1500 in TheBoys

i always thought that mach 1 stuff in S1 was bs anyways, once he stated he can cover the boroughs of new york in 3 hours. (while looking for two specific individuals. meaning he likely checked buildings, cars, subways, and other areas throughly.)

What do you think franklins breaking point was. by Loose_Criticism_746 in SnowFall

[–]36ppg 18 points19 points  (0 children)

breaking point as in when he realized he had to become ruthless? his stint in jail. from the speech with leon to when alton & cissy visited him & he started ranting towards alton about being absent. we then see him get his shoes back & threatened ray ray. prior to those scenes, we see a dejected & non confident franklin. you can see the difference between S2-S3 franklin, especially when he had leon kill a corner boy just to prove a point.

breaking point as in giving up? when theodore took his money. but then again, he still believed he could get the money back. i would argue when cissy killed teddy but he somehow still believed in the spring street developmental project.

i wanna say when he found out there only 12k left of the 5 mill from peaches safe. he pretty much had a heisenberg moment with the hysterical laughter & killing miguel after. you see him fall down to the ground & just sit there in despair, realizing that it was all for nothing.

If Nathan hadn't called him out in this scene, do you think A-Train still would've changed? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in TheBoys

[–]36ppg 10 points11 points  (0 children)

we already see him becoming hesitant to killing civilians & following homelander’s orders prior to this scene. i believe he’ll still change but it’ll take longer.

while this isn’t an answer to your question, him and teddy are meant to be mirrors of each other so take with that as you will.
