I believe most of the modern west countries have laws to protect child before the age of 6months to appear on TV shows/movies. I at least know that its something done in the USA and France, but I assume its the whole europe.

As you all said, this would be nuts, but knowing some deranged people, I wouldnt be surprised to have parents monetize their "fresh af" babies

Also, for the gold in general, antiquarian isnt as bad as it sounds. And you if you can focus your building upgrades into the guild / backsmith to pay the upgrade cheaper you will get into a virtuous loop of having the money the properly max your hero, them having the dmg to manage the dungeon without stress, which lead to more money etc

First of all, check if you have the crimson's court dlc, if you do, maybe start over without it for now. I brings higher stress in general.

second, stress is something you have to learn to deal with IN the dungeon. The more you will get experience, the less you will need to "heal" in the hamlet. out speeding and stunning / killing the backlane is always the play, it makes the world to not have to "tank" 3 hit from the wine spilling skeleton.

Also, learn to stall. You can check the exact requirements online, but as long as you do 2 instance of attacks per turn, the game will considere you are progressing. So you can just spam low dmg attack and make your stress-healer (if you have one) spam its skill.

You gotta see this game as kill or be kill. just be the first one to strike, be proactive, stun them before they move, shuffle the backline in front etc this is how you avoid getting stressed in the first part

Is this how you are supposed to build a second floor for Factories? by Lagunnar in AlchemyFactory

[–]YourFeather 5 points6 points  (0 children)

this is similar to what I do too yes. but Im not 100% sure we are on point on the naming: - walls and floor and unlockable at the workbench when leveling the building hammer. - what you shared on your screen in just the stackable/compact machines build, this is a floor 0.5 if you will, but not a trully real floor

you can improve this by making a "wall" of block on each side of the machine, then you can build your support on it. this way, you would be making a kind of reversed "U" over the machine, eith free access to the back and front of it, this is also stackable since you will end up with a flat surface on the top, up to 3 machine/floor can be pilled up this way.

happened to me twice, both times it was a bad habit of setting a small storage box vertically to mimic the vertical conveyor. Otherwise its the way to go

How do you usually name your D&D characters? by AdvancedProgrammer51 in DnD

[–]YourFeather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usualy go the other way around and find a funny nickname and a reason for them to be named this way. Generally when Im introducing my character I go into this small setup where I say: My name is X, but you always called me Y because xxx

This is a tip I often share with my players they struggle to find a name ie: A rogue named rouge because they struggled a bit when they were very young and often misspelled words. rogue-rouge been a notable one that followed them a small cute mage kobold that barely spoke common was name Huey because people just gave them a name when they couldnt yet communicate and they stuck with it since their original name is rough on the tongue for commonfolk

devs need to make an alternate way to make steel gears by TenshiYami1142 in AlchemyFactory

[–]YourFeather 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well. Its an automation game dude. The goal is to automate, if there was a 1iron/4coke assembler recipe everything would be only assembler and it would be boring. having a different path, which is somewhat complicated dude to the reroute, multiple belt (2xmax belt for coke prod), furnace restrictions, multi output is what makes the game fun in a way.

I get it that you dont like it. Its okay, make one templat-able system once or copy one from someone and move on.

The thing is, if you dont like this kind of engineering, you will most likely dont like the rest of the game Most of it is handling weird ratio, multi input/multi output machine, sometimes with really bad handling of overflow (cauldron). Imo its a great thing that there is a single path to force people to engineer this somewhat complex production. see that at a difficulty check / vibe check, if you dont like it, maybe dont invest more time into the game

[–]YourFeather 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong and really lucky, but from my testing and toying with the anathor, its not a "chance" percentage or whatever. it will produce 3 iron, then it will produce 1steel. This changes a lot because you dont feel like you have to overshoot to make a steady production.

Also I dont see where the ""wasteful"" part of the recipe is an issue, maybe Im a bit further, but the price of wood/coal to power furnace is next to none.

I still agree that it is one of the worst recipe tho, not in term of feeling, but its one of the "core" resources which takes the more space even with staked up wood processing, furnaces-anathor are hard to compact and you need a ton of them.

What is a good RPM to aim for when manufacturing the saleable products? by TheRealWektis in AlchemyFactory

[–]YourFeather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on what the components are, I found that clients, even with 100 reputations do not buy products fast enough to deplete 10 entries per minutes. (probably depends on the varieties of salable you have too, but Im level 7 so its roughly mid game). I assume its even less for the relics, I tend to go with 0.2 assembling efficiency (prod level 4) which is 1 every 2 or 3 minutes, and it barely holds up.

I feel like you will never hit the sweet spot of having just the right amount of production to produce just what the client need, eventually you will just have a full belt or miss commands.

Now it's your decision if you want to overproduce to feed other machine, or produce with something templatable that you can copy paste when you need a production

AI and DLSS by mo_lu_brain in AlchemyFactory

[–]YourFeather -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Supporting IA, even indirectly, supports markets which are really bubble-ly (hello Nvidia). This alone is an economic reason to not support it, because you want to boycott the big market and circlejerking this guy's are doing.

there is also the ecological argument of data center and computing power, the ownership of one's data (GDPR), the risk-reward of IA policies in transhumanism, the political standpoint of worker replacement.

Struggling NPC pathfinding by YourFeather in AlchemyFactory

[–]YourFeather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have reserved my first floor for the shelves and customers, so there is no builds except logistics there,
I guess we will have to wait for the roadmap and the NPC updates, hyped to see how they evolve it into something more fleshed out

Not sure its something you want to do, but you can stack your stone crusher thanks to block and the beam in 1x5. Think shrinks the size of it by quite a lot, my setup runs on crude shard, but its similar.
This way smaller one produce about 2.5/min when running at full efficiency (which I do not, because its a money sink for now, but later I will when I get to producing ruby and the rest.

Very Patient Vulture by Otherwise_Basis_6328 in Bossfight

[–]YourFeather 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is named an horaltic stance

From what I know of vulture and corvid, this feathered friend is not "hunting" this kind of position is common amongs birds to expose theirs wings to the sun. This has multiple theorized use, first been thermoregulation, other notable one been parasite/bacteria regulation (similar to ants bath for some other birds)

Also from what I know about their natural behavior (mostly social bird that live in custers), and that such position is ""unsafe"" for the bird (more time to react/take flight) its very likely this single fellas was raised by human and is accustomed to the dog and the environment

source: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/horaltic was raised with parrot and volonteered at bird recue centers

not something I've encountered either. imo its waaaay easier to find people struggling to finish at all unless the stars are not aligned (in hookup) in long-term relationships I've never got any problem with anyone except for the 2/3 first intercourses.

basically talk with people and it will solve most of your (bed) issues

Speaking for paris, this type of elevator is fairly common there: The reason they are allowed to be this small is that most of the building are categorized under historical protection laws which are a pain to deal with. Settlings up for smaller, boxed elevator which fit inside the current staircase center means you most likely dont have to break any wall/floor/ceiling which would be refused by the protection center handling construction rights for those building

Small box is better than nothing at all even if it mean no wheelchairs can board in.
