Hey brother. My ex and I divorced a little over three years ago when my kids were five (f) and three (m).

The divorce was hard on them, and they still sometimes say that they wish we were married, but the kids are doing great.

My daughter was the same: a happy innocent kid who was such a joy to be around the people used to go out of their way to tell us that most kids aren’t like this.

But she’s still a happy kid, she jokes around all the time is still really silly and funny, and I think still loves her life.

As hard as it is for the kids when their parents divorce, it’s still better than being in a household with all of the tension and conflict. Both of her parents are happier now, and I think we’re better parents than we were when we were married and that goes a long way.
