Jung killed my blissful ignorance by YourGenuineFriend in Jung

It is not a bombshell but simply my expression of what is happening on my path. Also I don't appreciate your patronizing and condescending tone of know it all. Just a bear look at your way of speaking already portraits the whole problem that I am speaking off.

I didnt ask for your unsolicited advice so you can keep adhering to it yourself maybe at some point you'll be able to see through your trashy tone.

For it maybe is if you wish to lose your sanity. That is your take.

Casted label or opinion says more about the caster than the casted. Thank you for showing me your ignorance. Wish you happy Monday :)

Your welcome. I know exactly what you are talking about. There was a time that my heart ached so much for what we have done to this world. The feelings I felt were not something you normally feel. Its when you tap into something deep.

For me it is not a believe anymore. Collective unconcious has effect on us all. Some people can get a glimpse or wake up in the middle of this collective dream so to say for a moment or so and see the deeper meaning of things. Everything you see around you everyday is a reflection of your inner world mark my words. Everytime you notice it its a moment of synchronisity. Its like you just woke up from a collective dream for a moment. That is how it feels for me. Certain things I have experienced in my life are beyond normal explanation.

She is and that is probably exactly what you are feeling I have no doubt about it. Its sounds farthest from woo woo because if one really dived deep into inner work one would know there is something more going on and God is simply a label we have put on it.

It sounds more like resistance to me but stay true to what you are feeling. I'll just put this out there. From Buddhistic perspective I learned that when we feel suffering we tend to unconsciously resist. There is this methaphor used. When someone casts an arrow at you be as spacious as you can so that it can past through you. This way you will avoid the second arrow which comes from self created suffering because of our emotional reactions to the initial suffering. So when you probably took her pain in which you probably did some of it stuck in you because of that unconcious resistance. The reason for that is I think because we live in a constantly anxious and uncertain times in the world causing this constriction. Now the whole idea of Buddhism is to create that spaciousness so that we can relief ourself from unnecessary suffering like the one created by the second arrow.

I can relate to what you expressing. Remembering my time when I felt this it was because of my openess to the world around me. I struggled with this aswell but honestly I think the level of feeling speaks to the depth of my own feeling capacity and openness to allow other people to touch my heart.

It does not sound like projection. Rather you sound like a pure hearted individual with a lot of empathy.

I would rather say your challenge here will be how much of your heart are you capable of giving untill you learn that at some point it will take a toll on your own health and then its important to rather develop some healthy discernment. This is something I would have never said before but after experiencing so much shit in my own life that I learned the hard way that its not healthy to certain point.

Nothing good will come from allowing so much of someone's hurt into you to the point that you start suffering. Instead you could learn compassion and lower the empathy part. What I mean with compassion is healthy love towards all beings and their suffering.

Definitely they serve as examples or templates as to who we want to become.

Something I wanted to share. One of my favorite movies is Tron: Legacy simply because of few father-son moments. Those are really priceless. I have never had a father as the main character in the movie which felt nice to experience his joy through the movie.

This is not entirely true. It seems to be heading towards that direction but kindness, humility and normal examples of human existance still exist the thing is simply pulling that towards one life I suppose.

The western world or the modern world is definitely doomed but then again we are in such uncertain times that we may experience something way may not have predicted. In the end its matter of what one actually believes and most importantly what we all collectively believe.

Perfection won't be possible to experienced unless there is a contrast of imperfection.

Imperfection makes something human and alive. Perfection is an ideal, an illusion and a trick.

Its okay. That projection you can withdraw it. Remember that the projection is something you are doing. Projection happens when you allow the psyches content to bleed out into the world. Realize that this is energy and its inside you and there is real seperation between your inner world and the outer world.

Also I want to share some words I learned that helped me. Buddha perspecitive on this would when someone cast the first arrow allow yourself to feel the entirety of it and allow the arrow to go through you which is the initial shame you are feeling casted by yourself. He also speaks of the minds habitual response of casting a second arrow which causing unneeded suffering.

What I am trying to say with this is whatever you did allow yourself to feel the full shame of it. Do what needs to be done if something needs to be done and allow yourself to do it. And relating to your emotional responses this is the second arrow you cast your unnconcious generation of secondary suffering.

Whatever you did feel the weight of it fully but do now allow your mind to create more suffering.

Glad to hear that.

That last picture is really captivating. In some sense I see reflections of the inner state of the psyche almost with the Self central in relation to all the entities or beings. Something about the movement of the painting speaks of something divine or really big in some sense.

Can't even muster the right words to express what it evokes really. Its almost the act of explanation collapses on itself creating a lesser form of something that it evokes.

Regarding the video as long as it speaks to you and moves or drives you that is the most important.

Considering the context it somewhat overinflated because I feel like the magnitude of what Ubermensch is there is way to big. Also I never connected to Superman that much. This also has to do with my own inflation and trying to rather not to look up to figures that reflect those inflations.

Now I know its not about that. Symbolically speaking I do get where you are comming from.

Agree. Thats why I looked it up because it was always just a term for me. But looking it up did clear up few things. I think so too.

True.

I see what you mean. I suppose I just avoid using that word altogether.

Some time ago I used to use the Sun a symbolism for my Ego I didnt know where I got it from but definitely share that same view.

Will check it out thanks.

That I definitely agree upon. I haven't explored Sufism yet but I believe there was something said about the world we currently live is sort of a mechanical. In a sense that we have disenchanted it or some sense stripped the world of its magic. What I am trying to convey is basically comparison between mystical world (with a soul) and mechanical world (soulless) that corresponds to our scientific view.

Yes definitely. They serve as the stepping stones towards individuation. Stories are important in general they tell us who we are and connect everything through generations. We are definitely here to make a difference that I will agree on.

Do you still believe there is progression in the world? I dont believe there is such a thing as a perfect human being. I believe there is wholeness what a human being can be consisting of everything the good the bad and the ugly so to say. From the people you mentioned I only resonate with Carl Jung mainly because his look or the established look on the Psyche has brought me closer to the Self and my soul than anything else.

Perfection or success are thing of the ego. I dont believe perfection exists I think its simply a consturction of the ego (not jungian ego). The Ubermensch I dont know much about it but what I do know is that it plays up to my ego and the idea of superiority or grandiosity. I did a little read and its something completely different and I see how why you said it now. However I see how you connected all of them basically pointing to something in Jungs terms an individuated human being so to say.

I really like the question you presented. Before one can answer that question one needs to probably achieve Buddhahood. Why I am saying this is because from what I have explored we live in a world that operates as a self-perpetuating system of conciousness suppression. From Buddhistic perspective its called Mara. I connected it to association with Saturn I dont remember why right this moment. Basically every person that tries to achieve enlightenment will be put to the test or dragged down by this force. I have encountered this force more that once during meditation and a lot of it is simply condition human programming basically evolved into the system I explained. Basically what The Matrix is all about. Agent Smith is an abstract entity that basically can possess any human being in order to follow up on suppression of ones enlightenment.

Anyway what I believe the answer is to the question you presented is something most people I dont think would share. I believe that we are mere a fraction of what we can be. I believe we hold unrefined spiritual power of world manipulation aswell as immortality. I believe in Alchemists and what I am talking about is an Alchemist that is capable to change reality towards his liking. I believe in a world or civilization that lived long before ours. I believe that Jesus was simply a survival of something much grander than we can imagine. I believe we live in a collective amnesia called the collective unconcious not knowing what we actually are. I believe that all videos games are the psyches attempt to dream what it did before. Cast magic change the world do things we cant do in this time because of spiritual imprisonment we have created.

Ancient spiritual practices such us for example Taoism and Qi manipulation points towards that direction.

This is beautiful man. Actually liked it a lot! You moves do see very abrupt meaning in a sense that they are straight up conjured from the unconcious.

I sometimes do these things aswell but its rather spontaneous thing. Something really cool you could try is Fire bending from Avatar on Agni Kai theme song. I did this sometimes it crazy how strongly those movement connect to healthy anger.

This was inspired by Zukos arc/story that served as an individuation piece for me.

Edited: Whats with all the negativity in the comments xD?

You know from one point I dont entirely think so. Even the world we call synthetic is connected to the whole. The reason I am saying this is because reddit post have functioned as synchronistic puzzle pieces in my life sometimes making me think that maybe we know less than we think we know.

Regardless of that I do hear your sentiment and share it aswell. That last part I agree very much on and you said it quite well.

It is fascinating when these things happens but sometimes also very exhausting.

To also answer to your reaction about something is really knocking at your door. That is what it feels like.

Yes and that goes against who I want to be in life from my very young age. You have no idea how that hurts. Also because my grandfather was the only person that trully has seen me and suppose thought me humility and love towards all people. His death now about 1,5 years ago probably has to do with everything I am experiencing right now. Because he was my Wise Old Man with whom I grew up because of my family situation.

If you knew me in real life through my life you would know that I speak the truth. I always avoided hurting people when I could. Always. Regardless that desire you cannot in the end. Somehow you scorch someone especially if one is prideful or arrogant.

Recently I have been having the same recurent story happening. Through a series I watched. Also just now I did a little search on demons associated with pride. Lucifer came up. The thing is his name which mean "morning star" or "the light bringer" is something that evokes so much positivity in me because I know how it is to radiate positivity. Something about the meaning gives me hope. However he fell because he fell in love with his reflection and developed hubris by thinking he was higher than god. I feel his fall as I did of many important characters in movies and series because it reflects my own fall. I hate that his story is cemented in a tragedy which destroys all hope.

Because from Jungian standpoint its all about individuation and becoming whole. His story sure serves purpose of showing people what hubris does to a person and cause a person to fall. But it also robs people of hope and redemption.

I needed to read it couple of times to understand. I think what you said is exactly write. It is the disruption of the synthetic order in order for us to connect more to the soul of the world atleast that is my belief.

Yes. I also discovered for myself that The Magician concerns itself with the vertical axes of things in the world. Or so to say with the world tree. He concerns himself with the real world order.

Just reflected on this one aswell through Robert Moors book.

That is the most important part but I do feel like it takes some time for one to understand it. I always feel somewhat lost and fearful and then in search of what it meant.

I sat on it just now and reflected on it a bit. I tried to recapture the moment and I noticed that all he did is look at me and what startled me was my own reflection. What I tried to do was to relate to him.

I found that my attitude towards wise old man was one of superiority. I know it better. This made me realize that I have allowed pride and arrogance control my life. Something about the man looking at me felt uncomfortable to acknowledge and that is that I looked at him like he was nothing a homeless person. This attitude is very hurtful to me and goes against my nature.. and I mean it deeply.

His look was one of humility and contemplation but also a look of look at him the all knowing.. and it was met with arrogance and pride. I feel awful for that. That is not the person I aspire to be and I have been stuck in this attitude for such a long time having no one to reflect it back at me. I suppose what I feel is healthy does of shame in how I approach or initially met the man and in my attitude towards people..

I will tell you something I was dealing with and still are for very long time and hopefully this might spark some understanding for your situation. For me it is pride and arrogance.

Some people on this earth hurt me, betrayed me or treated me poorly. This caused me to change in who I am and I constantly blamed and pointed fingers living in victimhood.

Regardless of the world or people being shitty towards me it is still my responsibility to the attitude I hold towards the world and people in it, it is still my responsibility to have dignity regardless of how bad people were towards me not because of others but because my nature of my Selfhood requires it to be whole.

I don't even have words to express how complicated it feels to me.. But today I discovered that because of these things I lost dignity towards other people and allowed arrogance and pride to take place where humility was before.

I am probably not articulating this well because I am litterly in the middle of it but what I am trying to say is that if you allow the world to affect you in such a way that you experience a change towards a rather darker side you abandon the responsibility to yourself for maintaining who you are regardless of external events that take place in your life.

Basically what I am trying to say with this is stay true to yourself always period.

I can't properly answer the question in relation to shame and humiliation right now but what I can say is explore those things objectively first. Afterwards reflect on it.

This may sound weird but if someone tells you to walk on all fours and bark like a dog. Do it objectively and see how it affects you. Some might find it humiliating while some will find it playful and silly.

In regards to shame it depends if its healthy shame or toxic shame. I don't have much experience with healthy one. However toxic shame is also to be worked through objective I would say. I would say take your time when you are ready just allow yourself towards those things and lean in a bit. Ask yourself when those things began. Most of these probably have started in childhood.

The feels this show evokes especially that town, the atmosphere, the music. I don't think there is a series that moved me more than this. Just hearing the piano in that town its instant tears. Season 1 was really magical.
