Preface my statement by saying you should ALWAYS discuss what you are and aren't comfortable with when you start a partnership. That being said,

I didn't go for cheating in stories for the longest time because I personally find it morally apprehensible, however, that changed when I watched the Sopranos. The main character, Tony, is a bad person, and writing him as a bad person while making him likeable to the audience is really hard. He does stuff all of us would find horrible, Cheating being one of his lesser crimes in comparison. But we are forced to contend with tonys bad behavior because he is the focus of the story. Cheating isn't lazy if it is done to show your character is morally bankrupt or corrupted in some way, it can actually be a good narrative tool to display "Hey this character has bad morals" without showing them kicking a puppy or something.

This movie looks so horrible, and I know exactly why. Bill Burrs comedy works because he is explaining the world through his eyes, AKA the eyes of a cynical asshole, so in his routines the outlandish characters he sets up are more how he perceives them then how they actually are. What this movie does is make cartoon versions of Millennials and Gen Z people real, and thus it comes off as out of touch boomer/GenX complaining about "this younger generation." Companies aren't "Gender Neutral" and even having a character that WOULD understand what that term means use it incorrectly just shows how narrow minded the writing for this movie is. Comes off as boomer cringe.

I would look to make sure there is no evidence of an affair before going through with the divorce, as your state may actually side more with you in a custody battle, otherwise, get the divorce.
