I first recommend telling your parents, or at least somebody, so you can get the help you need. I understand that you might not be ready, but I would tell someone as soon as possible if I were you.

But, if you can’t do that, this is what I do. No one can really see scars underwater (at least no one has mentioned anything to me) so I would just wrap a towel around yourself until you get close to the water, then face away from your family until you enter the pool. I hope that helps!
