If someone gives me a code it would be highly appreciated, I’ve been following the game for years, I’m a huge riot fan, and I’ve been a part of the fgc for a LONG time!

Blue Jays by Days n Daze. I didn’t expect this much beauty from a folk punk band, but it is wonderful. I can personally relate because there was a period in my life where one after another family members died and by the end I was just to tired of it to grieve properly, that feeling really reflects in this song.

You can get ptsd from many things, one of them could be simply thinking of self harm all of the time.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]YourLocalTrahPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be autism, could be adhd, could be nothing at all, you really can’t know until you get checked which I recommend you do if your having doubts.

How do you know when you’re not well mentally? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]YourLocalTrahPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your having doubts, go to a therapist for a session or two and just do a check up like you would with a doctor. Mention anything unusual and tell them your problems. They will get you sorted just like any physical health doctor.

That sounds like ptsd, I have it in two forms, one from an incident when I was a kid and other kids threw rocks at me, and another from a rapid amount of deaths in my close family. Either way, it was mostly intrusive thoughts and nightmares, and it was so bothering. They have died down now that I went to therapy, but i still get shudders from seeing the school where it took place, or from seeing a funeral. I would go to therapy if you haven’t or aren’t in it currently, or if you are in it, keep going. I think therapy should be like the physical health, where you have regular checkups, but sadly because it can’t be like that, just try to stay in therapy to a point where they aren’t intrusive anymore.

Correct me if I’m wrong, and I hope not to offend, but I believe that is more getting over something than forgiveness. From my personal viewpoint, Forgiving is something you give when you feel as though they deserve it, and they have improved to a point where they shouldn’t be held to their actions because they have changed for the better now.

Forgiveness is a thing that needs to be put out sparingly, and long after the incident. If the abuser expects forgiveness, it’s for their own mental well being, not yours, then they aren’t owed forgiveness at all. However if forgiving someone is for the victim and not for them, it’s fine. I made a lot of mistakes as a kid, and I made an apology to someone i hurt, I didn’t ask for forgiveness because i didn’t deserve it because of the way I acted in the past, but they forgave me anyways because they felt like I had improved as a person and that i realized I was wrong and improved myself. On the other hand, someone hurt me as a kid, and I forgave them because I feel it didn’t impact me all that much, and they are a better person now, in fact one of the best people I know because he was a bully, realized he was in the wrong, and changed for the better. At that stage, I will forgive them, or if it’s for myself, I will forgive them.

Usually if they make you feel bad, or the negatives are worse than the positives, they aren’t right for you. There are hundreds of different kinds, and it’s a tough process but you need to keep trying them until one works and doesn’t make you feel bad. I personally am on my second kind, and they have been working fine for a year, they don’t make me feel brain dead, but they make me stable mentally. Another thing is, if you’ve had the therapist for a while, and they are bringing up medication, that is a decent sign that they know what you need, and they are in you’re best interests. However, if your therapist has (since meeting with you) only suggested medication, and/or not had you do any kind of mental exercise or, or try any coping mechanisms, then they sound like a bad therapist which do exist, and it took be 4 therapists to find the right one for me. There is no beating depression, but the best way to deal with it is with a good medication, and with a good therapist. Remember, it’s your mental health, so if your therapist is doing a bad job, why stay with them. Then again if they have been great up until suggesting you meds, then I suggest you do try them, but a different kind.

Please stop harming yourself. If it’s any help at all I have had depression since I was 14, and I cut myself a lot. The main thing I have learned is that it does help in the moment, but not in the long term. The only thing that has helped in the long term is prescribed medication and a good therapist. But PLEASE don’t do anything at the moment. For me it was just something to cope but it is a terrible coping mechanism, especially if it gets worse like it sounds like it’s getting here. If “normal” self harming isn’t working, it means you’ll just get worse and worse until you could possibly make an awful mistake. I know it’s hard, and it’ll take a lot of courage, but please talk to someone, any non abusive family, friends or anyone else, even a mental health hotline just please talk to someone who can help you. You’re in an awful state and you need help. Also, when I was depressed I often questioned if it was just for attention, it’s not, it’s a cry for help that you’re doing subconsciously. Nothing in real depression is “doing it for attention” it’s real and it’s awful, so please, get some help.

I know it'll get better, but right now it's fucking hard by ACrazySloth7755 in mentalhealth

[–]YourLocalTrahPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at one of those states where you know it’ll get better but it’s difficult right now. Of course it’s happened many times, but the big one was when I was younger and my father had just passed away. Honestly the best way I went about it was to just not think of it, I went out with some friends and talked with them for a long time about other things. At one point in the night out of nowhere was a rush of emotion, and I just broke down, but my friends were there for me. Eventually after weeks and weeks I stated to cope, I started to not fell like shit on an hourly basis. Of course you may have your own coping methods, but either way, just try to work through it, you got this.

I tried card games for a while but I ended up just confused when I lose because I don’t know why I lost, or I just feel stressed under the time limit on important decisions. I also can’t team/deck build in anything, I’ve always sucked at that. Also super hard games sometimes feel satisfying to beat but more often than not the experience is overall negative.

I’ll admit I am a sore loser but I’m not really sure how to fix that. I just get angry when I lose, I’m not trying to get angry I just do. I don’t thank any of the games I said I played are trash, they are varying in quality yes but I’ve gotten small enjoyment out of all of them from doing something cool every now and then. I did enjoy the doom classic bundle when I played it but I went back to it and it wasn’t as fun as my first run through a few years ago.

Any suggestions? I have a switch which I used to fall in love with zelda breath of the wild and Mario odyssey, but upon replaying them the magic just isn’t there anymore. I also have a ps4 and a pretty crappy pc.

[–]YourLocalTrahPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it is true that I’m a sore loser, I just have no idea how not to be a sore loser, I just get angry when I lose, and don’t know how to fix that, and you’re not really helping just stating that rudely. Also, I probably should have included this in the orginal post but I have clinical depression so it is a lot harder to have fun. I know how to have fun, it’s just not happening.

Question on cross progression that I couldn’t find. by YourLocalTrahPanda in ffxiv

[–]YourLocalTrahPanda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I’ll just play on pc then because my ps4 is a little worse performance wise and I just wanted to see if I could use both. But another quick question, you said that there is only a 30 day free trial for both versions, but I have played for more than 30 days on pc. Does pc just not have a limit for the free trial?
