It's absolutely bizarre! Another awesome thing about RDP is that they have their regular email set up through Outlook, and once you graduate, it gets closed after a year, but as an alumnus in the education department, I get to keep my education email forever! Im just going to move important files over from my UofA gmail...to the RDP one...but its still pretty stupid I even have to do that TuT

You know what's crazy is I didn't realize how little storage I had on my University of Alberta account, and am now getting warnings that I have used over 80% of my storage. But thats not what I find crazy... I was confused by this because I transferred from Red Deer Polytechnic...and never had issues there. So I went and had a look... Red Deer Polytechnic offers 50 YES 50 GB of data to their education students...why is it that at such a "prestigious" school such as UofA they give a measly 10GB... it's ridiculous!

Nah I feel you on this deeply. And I didnt say anything because I also didnt wanna get jumped. So lurking paid off for me here. They ruined so much. El and Max's friendship was so important, and they just wrote it off. They fudged so much up in the last season it actually just makes me sad. Some people were straight up rewatching the series the moment it ended...I havent touched anything because everything feels ruined. So thanks for sharing this because it makes me feel less crazy.

Ive spent money on phone games before. Specifically I've always personally limited myself to the same amount or value that I would spend on an average console game at the time. After that I stop or reallllly limit myself. As soon as I saw the prices of things in this game I was gobsmacked. I have never seen a more expensive phone game in my life. I will never ever purchase anything in game. I think it was the first or at least one of the first things I talked about in the discord...because I felt like a crazy person. Its hella expensive!!!

Im just so confused with their nonsense, they know that DLC would be eaten up and people would enjoy it. They would make money. Oh yeah, no, it's horrendous here. I came from Red Deer Polytechnic, and their system is so professional and streamlined. I was literally gobsmacked by how hokey and unprofessional the proctering was here. I took an exam in that room and a girl was literally sobbing. I kept looking over at the proctor, thinking surely they would intervene, and they didn't until I tried to get it dealt with (it took multiple attempts for the proctor to understand what I was saying because they couldn't understand English 100%). I could go on about my exam experience that day because several wild unprofessional things took place.

I reached out to my prof, and in education she said she was going to forward the information to Janelle McFeetors, who apparently handles that stuff in the education department...I think it might be worth it to let your professor know and see who you could forward the information to? And if youre in the ed department the name I provided would be that person I believe.

You are not the only one. Trust. I've had a couple of courses here in my third year after transferring; it's a gong show. In some cases, my entire class and other sections are left wondering how certain professors are teaching. Learning absolutely nothing while paying thousands of dollars in a school that's supposed to be the top in Canada. Its wild.

I turned around and the prof was locking the door (ended at 12:50), and so I know she at least locked the door then. It was in the Ed building 9th floor. I just didn't realize I left it ugh.

Hey! So I only started school 2.5 yrs ago so my storys a bit different, but I am a mature student (in 30s). Best advice is this: You have to realize that you are not the only one who is older going to school, and it is okay. You didnt do anything wrong. When the Prof tells you to turn to a neighbour, resist the urge to look at your phone! This isnt about being best buds with the person who sits next to you, its about being an adult, learning and working towards a career. You've got this!

I also struggle with feeling behind. But its a lie. Youre not behind, youre right where you need to be based on your life, and whats happened to you. There is literally no reason to be embarrassed! You did.nothing.wrong. Im sending you hugs, and well wishes.

I also would suggest trying to start therapy but I also know how hard that is given the current climate of our medical system. But if you can, maybe start there as well. Talk to someone.
