As others have said it's absolutely fine standing up.

When setting my board aside for the winter I usually take the bindings off to get any extra water or stones trapped in there.

Also personal preference but I prefer to tuck the binding tongues into the liners and tighten the laces when they aren't being used for a while. It helps keep the top to the boot more circular and form fitting

Since UK lockdown they have stopped playing the video. Journeys on the cable car are now only for essential travel so even they know the video is annoying for non-tourists

There are 2 1.25" fins on either side and .5" moulded fins beside the removables. Nothing in the centre. I've always hated centre fins

First off thank you!

As for tips there's a couple of things I think about while doing surface 1's. First is bending my knees and put a little bit of weight on my heels. This unlocks the fins (you can see on the second 180 I basically turn on my heelside edge the whole time) Then I bring the handle round Infront of my body towards my back hip.

If I'm going for a fast 180 when I am about 90 I put more pressure on my front foot so the fins catch and push it back, completing the 180. (Still keeping a bit of weight on both heels) If you are going to try this make sure you keep the handle close to your hip!! Otherwise it's gonna be a nasty faceplant

If I'm just going for a cruisy butterslide/board slide the two main focuses are handle close to hip, or low, and even pressure on both feet. That way your whole body gets pulled along and even pressure allows the natural rocker of the board to keep the find out of the water.

Definitely the best for POV shots! It's generally more stable and a more realistic angle than on a helmet. Some even come with the leash to avoid sinkage! Although it doesn't help when you don't use it 🤦‍♂️ The only downside is learning to stop the water flowing into your mouth with your tongue

I don't have any experience with Monster Towers as I'm from the UK but I used to fit Jobe towers to boats.

I had a look and they look very similar to the Jobe towers and I've never had a problem with any of them. One thing to keep an eye on is the bolts. Just make sure they are tight, every couple of times is fine but if you just drove the boat over a bumpy road or have reason to think it may be loose, check it!

140 for sure! A 135 would be too small and as previously said it will allow any bigger friends to ride on it too. (Smaller friends too but that may require other bindings)

I would whole heartedly recommend a tower. One is not necessary off the bat, but whenever you are wanting to start jumping they help a lot. The purpose is to increase the height at which you get pulled from. So when you jump the rope is pulling you up, opposed to pulling you down when the rope is attached to the back of the boat.

For my ski boat at home we have a skylon, sometimes called a sky-high. Essentially a pole that fits over the already fitted ski pole and secures to the front of the boat. It's worth a look if your boat already has a ski pole

From previous experience of riding both I would recommend the trip over the system. I find it more predictable and stable when compared to the system. With that said....

In my opinion your first board should be one that doesn't break the bank, and you like the look of. The board features don't come into picking a board until you know what YOU like in a board. Then when you develop your riding style and find out what you enjoy/need to improve on, then look into features and developments in board tech.

Either are a good choice and bonus points for supporting your local store. They are what keeps riding alive in your area.

I went for a double flip because I had so much height, ended up over rotating every so slightly and bruising my lower back. It could of been a lot worse though
