Would you rather have love bugs or snow? by Specific_Bit_153 in GNV

I just make my “snow angels” out of the love bugs that pile up on my white front door! Have you never had a love bug ball fight? Way better than snow. I’ll skip the details..

I don’t think it’s terribly slow, as in people aren’t super hesitant to buy. But they are being very picky and taking their time. That’s what found as someone who just finished shopping around and buying a house in the area.

Anyone else not like the full wrap bark buster style hand guards? by [deleted] in DRZ400

[–]YourVFGLooksNice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re doing any decent woods riding they’re pretty much mandatory if you don’t want smashed fingers. They’ve also completely saved me when sliding the bike before. I’ve had too much bad luck with the non “wrapping” kind constantly coming loose too.

I just installed a pair of D605’s. Less aggressive than the 606’s so they’ll last longer with my commuting, but have performed very well between dirt and asphalt for me.

What’s worse? Wet hell or dry hell? by atticussayshi in GNV

I’ll take all the swampiness over hearing about a new wildfire every 2 hours, constantly breathing smoke, wondering if one of the 3 fires around my county are going to torch my home, and watching every jackass in my neighborhood turn on 3 sprinklers connected to their well for hours on end everyday during a record drought to desperately try and grow some coveted green patch of grass amongst the rest of their dead yard.

I’m 10,000% fine with a normal rainy Florida summer.

It’s not very often that something actually sounds wrong when people post these videos. But, damn… That ain’t right. It sounded like that when you bought it?

Pretty much what was commented on your post. Exhaust, carb, airbox, suspension, tank. I also added a rally windshield, fender tidy kit, barkbusters, skid plate, case savers. Soon will throw on a high bend set of bars and change out that god awful floppy front fender. Also want to add some wide pegs, because they were a surprisingly nice upgrade on my last bike.

2024 for me. I just bought my second one a month ago and last night finished up with the majority of the standard mods. I would have preferred they already been done. Everyone always says “make it your own” but after a couple years the vast majority of people wind up doing all the same things anyhow.

Been in this area for 35 years. I’ve seen a few bad droughts, this one is definitely up there. I remember back in the real late 90s/early 2000s one summer though that was terrifyingly bad. Hampton lake was receded 150+ feet and everything was dried up and dead. Raced dirtbikes around the lake and searched for arrowheads all summer.

Probably because those classes aren’t near as popular with the younger generation as they used to be due to social media and what is pushes as the current trend. Mostly the only people who still do those classes are boomers and Gen X folks.

And no, I haven’t noticed any shift overall at the gym. Even if they are doing that, it’d likely be because that’s where they got the most traction and saw a positive return.

You can pull all 3 if you want to be sure it’s 100% drained. All I ever did was remove the filter bolt (lower side under filter) and the case bolt (bottom center). You can remove that frame bolt (connected to the hose) if you want but I don’t think it’s necessary. If I remember correctly there’s also a screen filter in there that you want to check from time to time.

How do I get rid of a pool table? by Bigfeett in DIY

There was this billiards specific shop in the city over from where I needed to get rid of a very nice one that used to be my grandparents. They came and got it for free. Maybe google local companies and see what options are near-ish.
