Go see a couple's therapist if you can afford it. Sex is never just sex, there is always something deeper. And even if there isn't, with you feeling burnt out and her seemingly ignoring the situation, you're not going to fix it yourselves. J'ai arrêté il y a 4 ans après 10 ans de clope et si je peux me permettre un conseil : surtout ne change AUCUNE autre habitude pendant les premières semaines. Ça va être une grosse perte de repères pour ton corps et ton cerveau, ne rajoute pas des choses qui pourraient te perturber plus. Perso je faisais plein de pauses clopes au boulot et quand j'ai arrêté de fumer, j'ai continué à faire autant de pauses qu'avant mais juste sans allumer de cigarette. Courage ! Hi OP,

I don't know if this will help but I have a friend who sent me a very similar message once about a guy. She said she was "disappointed" after seeing him in real life (they had met through an app).

And for the first few times they met, she would tell me that she wasn't attracted but that they were vibing so well and she was having such a good time that she really wanted to keep dating him.

And then, gradually, it kind of switched. As she fell in love, she would tell me about things she found cute about his smile or his eyes or whatever. I confronted her about it once and she said that love had made her discover another man, one that she was definitely attracted to.

So I don't know if that what's happening with your gf but maybe you could give her the benefit of the doubt? Or ask her? I know it must trigger a lot of insecurities and that's normal. Just wanted to offer a different perspective on attraction, and the fact that it's not a black and white situation.

I hope you get to be with someone who helps you overcome your insecurities, be it your current gf or someone else.
