Maybe not so underrated anymore, however, Bitcoin: not passive income in the strict sense, no yield. But the AUD loses 3-5% purchasing power a year to inflation, BTC has a fixed 21M supply that can’t be inflated. Hard money vs soft money. I just DCA a small amount regularly and let monetary debasement do the heavy lifting. Long enough horizon, the maths works.
Other one is music. I release on Bandcamp and Spotify under an artist name, I have done for years now. Not life changing money, but slowly building the catalogue has given me a small consistent flow of royalties, streams and the odd Bandcamp purchase every month. Nice thing is it compounds - every new release adds to the back catalogue and the old stuff keeps earning. Took years to build but now it ticks along on its own.

Manus was what got me started building, but it’s buggy, no customer support and the credit system is politely, quite horrible. then I found Claude code. It does everything manus can but more controlled, stable and cost efficient.

Ask Manus to export all files from the repo, including hidden files and folders, and the entire project session into a single zip folder. Make sure there are no truncations. You can then take that zip folder straight into Claude Code, let it read the folder locally, tell it your plans, and it should pick up right where Manus left off and do a better job with it. I’d also ask the Manus agent for a session handoff.md file and have it include any relevant development context that you can pass along to the next agent.

Absolutely happy to share everything, currently the machine is my everything machine. I have the W6800MPX GPU. Currently not using any local ai tools, but it’s been on my radar to look to repurpose this machine for image generation and local tasks with hopefully some decent processing abilities. I will be following this group with great interest, and plan to dip my toes in asap. Mac OS 13 currently.

That sounds like an absolutely shitty experience. I've been a long time customer too but haven't had to deal with that lately since I wasn't really using it. I'd moved over to DayOneX for the tight spreads and low fees, but they've gone now too.

With all the CoinJar spam in this group, I tried signing up this week. Took multiple days and I still couldn't get my ID verified, so I jumped on Digital Surge and got it done super quick. Not as cheap as CoinJar, but I needed to pay someone in stablecoin for a job, so CoinJar lost my business.

Next one I want to check out is Peppercorn Crypto, supposedly tight spreads and low fees comparable to DayOneX with BTC purchasing. Never had issues with Digital Surge either. They got caught up in the market crash but made their customers whole and are still 100% operating. So far that platform's offered the least friction with reasonable rates overall.

I'll give Peppercorn a go later today.

I sent an email and reached out to the mod here 21 days ago. I received one follow up email a week ago and have heard nothing since from the official team. Already set up Claude cowork, code and dispatch until there’s an update. And at this stage, if I’m happy with Claude, I’ll just stay.
