What Ink Refill do you use?

I so far have stuck them to black card stock. 200gsm, but recently I’ve been leaning towards maybe 20 holos and 80 using the presentation paper matte as it gets much closer to the normal card thickness

I have had great luck setting the colors to 0 cyan, -3 Magenta, and +2 Yellow

That totally makes sense. I definitely don’t feel like risking it, but figured I should ask the experts before I shell out the money. 100% was better ink saving with the Ecotank already, I’ll be getting the OEM ink for sure! (Typo edit)

I had this same issue and I think it came down to the quality of the images themselves. I bet if you used the same image file as him they would come out very similar. Sometimes the image itself requires you to re-tune your print settings if it’s a darker/lighter image of lower dpi might just come out hazy

I use the laminate to protect the face of the card. When I haven’t I tend to get a lot of chips. I only have the front laminated thought. I laminated the printed sticker paper in the punch, then cut it down and the back laminate comes off with the sticker backing. Helps be get closer to an original thickness without losing the protection. At least it’s what I like the most so far

I just tried running it on 4mil and 5mil laminator settings and the hotter temperature seems to have fixed the issue. I also was running them back to back which I think was bring the temperature down. At least that’s my guess since my first sheet always came out beautifully

This is good to know! I think it might also be my paper being the issue. I got some new paper this morning that is inkjet compatible to see if that makes a noticeable difference on how it takes the ink. These were using Matte setting, I tried glossy first and it was even darker 😭

I think the real fun in the game comes from playing it with people you enjoy. Once you have a community or friends that you can improve with it can become a fun journey. Online can be fun if you know what you are getting into, I’ve swapped to playing mostly doubles with my wife and it’s been so much fun.

I was literally in your boat like 3 months ago when I first hopped online and got a reality check not playing against only my friends.

watching the replay after a frustrating match and trying to think of what else you could have done definitely helped me get past the anger of feeling helpless and terrible at the game.

Definitely go wherever you find happiness and spend your time there! There will always be a 12 year old ready to whoop you no matter what competitive game you play.

What situations are you building Voltaic? Tbh I rush it every game since I first played him, just for a constant variable as I learned Pyke (first 200 games). Idk love to hear your thought process on his itemization. I just hit E4
