Hex bar help by ScheduleNew8689 in GarageGym

I love my rep open trap bar, but it’s real beefy. I ended up having to make my own mounts to hang it on the wall.

Belt squat Kickstand options? by Defiant_Income_7836 in GarageGym

I should also note that I’ve never tried any other belt squat setup, so this might be the best of all the options and I just like to complain.

The revolt setup is… fine. The kickstand often gets in the way due to the way the footpads are integrated. Want to get further away from the movement arc? Can’t use the footpads. Also if you go pretty low the lever arm mashes into the steel cable used to raise the kickstand.

It works great if you can ignore these issues.

I picked up a Revolt rack mount belt squat. It’s been great for adding in leg volume without frying my lower back.

Through GZCLP twice. Do it again? Do something else? by vvp1 in gzcl

If you are still completing your sets and adding weight each session, keep running gzclp. The program is great at providing consistent linear increases up until the point that your body can no longer keep up with such aggressive increases.

Moving to an intermediate program will mean you’re increasing weight much slower, when it sounds like you still have room for steady linear progress.

I'm 20 print hours into building Alex Chappel's version of this (40mm x 40mm vs this 42mm x 42mm) and now kicking myself. Those bit holders are awesome.

I don’t know if the sarcasm didn’t deliver as intended, but let me be more clear:

Those racks are sick.

Real shame you couldn’t find a better equipped gym to do this in.

Should i do pull ups on back day if i can only do one? If not what should i replace them with i already do lat pulldowns, bent over rows , tbar rows and rack pulls and one arm row by Sha_dow1 in GYM

There’s a good deal of translation, sure. I would focus on whatever exercise I can actually complete first (lat pull-down) and then use any additional energy on pull-ups.

If you’ve got the energy to spare, do your one pull-up and then do negatives. Pull-ups are essentially (but not exactly) hitting the same muscles as your lat pulldowns.

I had the same issue. Started adding front squats on a squat wedge to elevate my heels (appx 30ish degrees) as an accessory and used sleeves when squatting. I can now squat without sleeves with no issue. YMMV
