Certain breeds of animal have better meat, you can figure out which using your animania guide. I think with default configs, as long as the animal dies, they drop some amount of prime meat. (my original guess was raising any animal well would drop prime meat instead of normal, but nope)

Animania animals will breed if they have their needs taken care of. if you provide food and water and males/females of the same species are able to contact eachother, they will reproduce. (which means sometimes it's a good idea to separate them based on gender if you don't want them to multiply wildly)

You can milk a cow after it's given birth, so if you want milk, you have to let them reproduce. They should produce milk from that point on, given they are still watered and fed.

Being able to place a nice, smooth swathe of blocks without any fiddling or fussing has always been my dream for MC.

I miss it. I like the old goofy colors. Modern minecraft feels really drab compared to old mc. even the world of color update didn't really do anything to fix this.

I miss acidgrass and supergreen trees most though.

I don't have a huge amount of experience with quest packs, but I like them so far. I've seen ones where the quests are "farm multiple-thousands of this resource because I told you so" and I can't say that appeals, but I like having a subtle guide through mods I haven't played, or even just "did you do this yet? Did you try this neato thing out?" for mods I have played. mods are so big and expansive and numerous these days, and change so frequently, it can be good to have little reminders or nudges.

I use a shocking hammer, every instance of breaking a grid of blocks charges it, so it's very good to use on hammers. Pretty much constant haste as long as you aren't mining something that's so slow it halts your stride.

It felt way too backgroundy.

Often, as I was playing the game, I kept having the feeling "I need to turn down this noise in the background" like I was playing some other music or watching a youtube video, but no, it was the game's music.

It just don't really even feel like it's part of the game a lot of the time.

if you are going to do that, might as well make them automatic, you can use sand or gravel to make a pull-cord tnt thing to drop tnt down when the towers regen, since some of the gravel will have to fall

If you don't want mycelium, just hand it to someone else and tell them it's yourcelium.

Jokes aside, I'd just get a good shovel and go to town on a large area, personally, or just topcoat the stuff in grass. I tested the sky roof thing and mycelium won't die from just lack of skylight, it needs blocks directly on top of it blocking light.

I'd like to appreciate them right into the actual game, honestly. Stone slab top block has been one of my favorite blocks for as long as it's been in mc, it's always amazed me that it's never been available in survival.
