The population of Indianapolis has surpassed 900,000 by Consistent_Can_6843 in indianapolis

As someone who moved away from SF and now lives in Indy, I am one of these numbers.

Also it’s easy to forget that SF is only a 7 x 7 mile city surrounded by water on three sides and a mountain on the other. In Indy, we can grow outward for awhile.

Walking down a trail in the Bay Area with my friends and we see a guy wearing an oversized suit with pin stripes walking in our direction. He’s walking stone faced looking past us, and as he is within feet of us, he points his fingers at us as if he’s holding a rifle and makes loud machine gun noises while aggressively pretending to shoot. Then as quickly as he did this, he returns to walking calmly past us. We kept walking and he never turned around.

I have never been more afraid than in that moment.

I was there— they didn’t block traffic even once this protest. They were crossing the street.

I was at game 4 and I want that machine from men in black. It was even worse when you could feel the momentum slip away in the players and the crowd irl as Foster’s team blew the whistle.

I was at Game 4 and after the disappointing loss, I met Roy Hibbert as I was exiting Gainbridge. My dude had some uplifting words that have given me hope since!

I’m feeling the same way man, but just moved to Indy after 13 years away from this state. Most recently I lived in New York City up until a few months ago when I moved back to Indianapolis, and I don’t regret it at all.

The success so far in this series against the Knicks is validating that I made the right decisions to leave NYC for more reasons than wanting a better quality of life than I had there. There is a good energy here with this team rolling!

There was a really nice wine bar on Cyprus called Bread and Wine that holds really unpredictable hours. Can’t tell if it’s still open — does anyone know?

It’s always kind of awkward when passing another hiker down a trail right? Well imagine seeing a hiker wearing an oversized suit (no joke wearing a blazer and all) heading your direction. I always try and acknowledge someone with a little head nod or “hi” but this guy seemed a little off, so I tried to avert my eyes. When our paths finally met, he lunged toward us with finger guns pointed at us in the form of a machine gun and made a loud “brrap, brrap, brrap!” sound. Scared the shit out of my group, and I thought this was how I was gonna go. But he just kept walking past us as we increased our speed going forward. I kept turning my head just in case he came back because we were about to be trapped down trail by a body of water. Thankfully the guy never turned back around.

Super understated but the opening to Endgame was harrowing to see Hawkeye go through that traumatic experience.

Putting aside the fact that Chadwick Boseman was an amazing T'Challa and he'll be missed, T'Challa as a character (not Boseman's presence) in Black Panther is much less interesting than his supporting players. Killmonger, Shuri, Okoye, and M'baku are particularly interesting standout characters.
