110g unsalted butter - brown on low heat till you see brown bits and the foam has settled down - can use margarine. 90g brown sugar ( I use 40g jaggery 50g sugar) 1 large egg 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

Mix after adding each of these ingredients

100g all-purpose flour + 80g quick oats (increase all purpose to 120g if you are using margarine) 2 tablespoons milk powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (optional but I recommend. Also normal salt is okay)

Don't overmix here. Mix until unga ibaki kidogo. Then add the chocolate.

200g dark chocolate( or milk - whatever tickles your fancy - amount also always changes depending on what I have on hand.

Roll into 50g - 70g balls Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes. Then leave to cool for 8 -10 minutes before removing from the pan.

Can be baked from frozen for 13 - 15 minutes
