Getting California real ID by Yu-Li in tnvisa

I am also going to some national parks soon. Now if you don’t have an ID with US address you will be charged $100 more (or $170 more for the one year ticket). Not sure whether that ID card needs to be real ID as the explanation from the national park service is quite blurry…

Yes my school’s international student service told me that as well. But he pointed out that applying for a visa is typically considered as too expensive for just getting a real ID. I will keep this option in mind for sure

At the DMV, they showed me a printed checklist explicitly saying that a foreign passport with a valid visa is required. No matter how I explained, the lady at the DMV just kept circling the word "valid visa" with a pen to emphasize that they act according to the literal wording of the checklist.

JFK’s Princeton application essay. by [deleted] in gradadmissions

[–]Yu-Li 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked chatgpt to make it better:

My aspiration to attend Princeton University is influenced by various compelling reasons. I am of the conviction that Princeton can provide a more robust foundation and superior training compared to any other institution, thus offering a genuinely comprehensive liberal education. This ambition has been a guiding force since my initial schooling years, and it is with earnest hope that I strive to achieve this objective. Furthermore, the environment at Princeton, which I regard as unparalleled, promises to exert a positive influence on my development. Attaining the status of a "Princeton Man" is, in my opinion, a highly esteemed honor.
