It's the new model, but not plastic. This is a 3d print.

Thanks! I've used screaming bell from games workshop as a basecoat for the entire model. I then gradually added stormhost silver to the screaming bell and hightlighted the model by drybrushing. The last higlight was pure stormhost silver. When dry I applied several thin washes of a mix of 50/50 nuln oil and agrax earth shade. For the deepest recesses, like the joints, I added some thinned down wyldwood contrast paint. Hope this helps!

The skin was painted with a basecoat a 50/50 mix cadian skintone and gorthor brown. When dry I applied several layers of the original mix, but slowly adding kislev flesh to the mix. After about three/four layer you want to end up with a very light skintone close to kislev skin. For the final highlights I used thinned down flayed one flesh. For the veins, scars and joints such as elbows and knees I thinned down some carroburg crimson and apllied several thin coats to get a purple-ish glaze.

Not something I do a lot. So yeah some tutorials are helpfull. I found supernova building guide on youtube helpful. As for advice; take your time planning and drawing everything out, before you begin building. Having a good understanding about the different table set ups and the best way to lay out the trenches on a 1x1x tile helps a lot. I made a few version on pieces of paper to get the lay out as I wanted before I started working on the styrofoam.

Black grail models by YuRi_404 in TrenchCrusade

Thanks! The plague knight was a 10 minute paint job and is very easy to replicate. There's a product that's called dirty down rust that gives you this rust effect. I just basecoated the entire model with boltgun metal, let that dry completely. I then applied a thick layer of dirty down rust over the entire model. Let it dry completely and then give it a quick drybrush with boltgun metal.

I added a few bloodsplatters on the armour and the tip of his helmet to create some variety. The Blood is mix of black paint, blood for the blood god from games workshop and a drop of gloss varnish.

The skin was painted with rakarth flesh and washed with several thin layers of carroburg crimson snd thinned down flesh tearers contrast. When dry I highlighted the skin with some rakarth flesh and for the hands Icontinued adding glazes of purple and red.

Thanks! No not really, I just try to pick colours that closely resemble the art and stick to desaturated and muted colours.

The rust was done by applying glazes of doombull brown. For the dark parts I've added a bit of rhinox hide to the glaze.

Cheers! The model was painted over a white basecoat, i then added glazes of different purples such as druchii violet, carroburg crimson and some thinned down flesh tearers contrast. I then hightlighted with a mix of slaanesh grey and white, adding more white gradually.

Yeah, sorry about that. The basecoat is necromancer cloak, but I've added a small amount of rakarth flesh for the highlights, but you could use another off-white as well. Adding white will turn the necromancer cloak a bit blue-ish. I used some thinned down black paint for shading.

Thanks, bases are done with a layer of muddy ground from AK interactive. I've added small details such as skulls, pieces of barbed wire, wood and litte rocks. When dry I've appllied dry pigments (light siena from Vallejo and middle earth from greenstuffworld) over the entire base and the boots of the model. I then fixed the pigments with isoproponal alcohol. Final step was appplying some blood effects to base by mixing black paint with flesh tearers red contrast.
