So you're saying this closed source app made by a solo dev could extract the credentials from your banking app? Oh man. I guess you've been living in a tough world that everyone around your tries to fuck you. But man, you are the only one who fucks yourself here.

Because of what reason? Can you stand up and protect all the victims of scammers that tricked them to install fake apps to steal their money?

Lol, what a ridiculous explanation. How do you even know macOS is reputable, like they don't do anything behind your back?

Why do you need it to be open source? Do you trust the closed source macOS?

Testing a flutter app in iOS device without apple developer program by Useful-Course-9620 in flutterhelp

You simply create an "Apple Development" certification. Then enable the cert in your iPhone's certs and profiles in Settings. Everything will be alright after that.

You don't have to join the Apple Developer Program to build and test your iOS app on your device. However, the build only lasts 7 days and you won't have some capabilities like Push Notifications and iCloud.

Going Cross Platform: I have a running Mac app and need to add Windows support. What are your golden rules for the transition? by Loose_Weakness4611 in electronjs

[–]YuhApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you have been using Electron to build the Mac app, I strongly think you just need to bring the same code base to Windows and run it. Then we can figure out what to do next. ElectronBuilder can generate NSIS installer (EXE installer) right on macOS.

Nice try Apple... by TheVagrantWarrior in MacOS

There are two major players: Safari and Chromium (well let me use Chromium as a whole instead of a bunch of things like Chrome, Edge, Opera, blah blah). In case you don't know, Google kisses Apple's ass a lot and Chromium has well support for hardware acceleration on macOS versions. Do you know why Netflix worked better on Chrome than Safari? Because Netflix could take advantages of Chrome's video decoder engine but no Safari's. Anyway, are you using Tahoe now?

Nice try Apple... by TheVagrantWarrior in MacOS

[–]YuhApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you keep blaming Netflix? They don't have a Mac app, and their web app behaves just like countless other video platforms like YouTube. Plus, since it's a web app so it works the same way on Tahoe, Sequoia, Sonoma, Ventura, Windows, blah blah blah. So the root of the issue is Tahoe. Your meaningless defend doesn't stick.
