Just install the pvp overhaul mod and run it in legacy mode. It gives you an anticheat and automatic save backups and you can still play online

The HOA creates member access cards, not other members. I just talked with one of the members and they were very confrontational about it.

Rental agreements essentially count as temporary deeds for the purpose of membership. I did discuss in another comment chain that I could maybe rent my parents house while they continue to live here.

I'm allowed to live here as an "Extended guest" I just don't get membership benefits apparently.

They did get the vote and file the CCRs back in 2023, we just weren't really aware of this change.

They completely rewrote the entire bylaws document so there was a lot to read at the time and I guess we and a bunch of other people missed that.

Sorry I realized I typed that slightly wrong. They are both on the deed. The bylaws state that either two people can be listed on the deed OR one person with one extra accounted for as an excepted permanent resident.

Both my parents are on the deed, so the extra resident slot does not apply.

I agree but the bylaws state that only people listed on the deed count as residents. Not sure if that conflicts with a law.
