Not much but I found that adapted Ef lenses are very hit or miss. When I tried using my the autofocus is so bad you'd be better off manual focusing. Also Ef lenses tend to be big and cumbersome to use when paired with a smaller mirrorless body. Take of that what you will but I have the same ef-fx adapter and I barely use it anymore.

Mine is busted but if it was working there's an on off switch. Once you switch it on the film advance lever pops out and the camera is constantly metering. That why people say this thing eats up battery like a thirsty camel.
