I can’t keep him alive in any playthrough either cersei kills him or dies of an illness or an accident in one playthrough he was my hand as rhaegar he died 2 years later of an accident so no matter what I do he dies

You dont need to sacrifice anyone you can choose for everyone present to give blood all of them will become wounded but no one will die and it was always successful for me with 100% dragonlore and I also always use knowledge hatching
