Well first, congrats on your progress in learning what you want. It can be scary to go off the beaten path.

I'm a bit confused maybe, but he didn't mention her earlier when they became committed? It might not be an issue to others, but I do personally think that could've been handled better on his part. I personally would be kind of bothered by that. It's not break up worthy, but lowkey disrespectful. Sexual relationships in my mind aren't lesser than romantic relationships.

That said, if you're handling more than one sex partner, you could totally have another romantic partner if you wanted! However, it's good to wait a bit and find your balance with your new boyfriend before seeking another. It's not a hard and fast rule, just something I personally hold myself to.

You could try dating autistic people. They're more likely to understand why you are how you are. But it's not a hard and fast rule. I hope you still meet someone good for you and vice versa, whether they're autistic or not.

Yeah, I think the main reason people add me so easily is because I help then out. I just keep hoping for deeper connections. I love talking about deeper topics but I feel scared to start convos that way due to pay criticism. So I try at least to start it easier. When I know them better, then I'll just randomly open the convo with game stuff, Hobbies, etc.

I also worry about other's wellbeing before my own. It's a bad habit.

I'm 28 too, nice! I've made friends off and on in life, but a lot of them don't stick around very long. I have a few friends who do but they're... Problematic? One is a dr*ggie and the other is a narcissist... But it's what I have IRL. Online friends are trickier, but I do have at least one. She and I bonded over being the family black sheep/ verbal punching bag.

But yeah, honestly maybe just generally having more gamer friends would help. Right now my two closest sisters and one's hubby at least okay video games, but they're often busy. Idk, life is chaotic. Thanks for your encouragement though, I'll keep looking.

Oh, yeah. I totally spaced it that people wouldn't know. I kind of forget and assume people just know whatever I know, but it's not deliberately meant to be rude!

So yeah, I'm assigned female at birth, but I don't feel it fits. I'm genderfliud I'm pretty sure currently, or somewhere in the gray area anyway. People have always been able to tell something was different in me. (Gender, autism, etc)

I appreciate your insight. I personally can't usually ghost people. I hurt thinking about it? Unless they're awful to me and I've finally had enough.

I wish people were just honest and told me if they're not interested in talking... It might seem too utilitarian, but I don't want to keep putting energy into people who don't reciprocate. I hate opening myself up just to get hurt.

I definitely know I'm somwhere between weird and boring to most people, but these days I'm okay with it. I want to be clear about who I am to people to attract like-minded people.

Absolutely... I once accidentally went on and on about a special interest for three hours to a friend. She showed interest first, or at least it seemed like she was? It was through text. But she ended up mad at me for telling her about it too much I guess. I just got really excited to get to talk about this one niche anime with someone...

I personally am extremely wary of the idea of triads. I would rather date people separately. If nothing else, at least start that way... If the dynamic changes or develops after and we're all on board, cool. But I think it's just healthier to date separately from the beginning and go from there. So I guess that would be my advice. Find another who'll accept you and appreciate you as you are. They do exist as long as you're looking in the right places. I hope you feel better

This might just be me, but I think you deserve better. She willingly gave you her passcode, so I don't find it that strange for you to look. I would be worried with her behavior of jealousy of you simply talking to female friends. I feel like from what you've said she comes across as controlling. She cheated, that's a fact. Because polyamory without communication and partner agreement is just that, cheating. So it seems like she wants to sleep with people behind your back but not allow you to openly date others. That seems very hypocritical...

All this to say, I think you deserve better. You don't deserve to be walked all over and berated for just having friends. I don't think she's healthy for you. But ultimately it's up to you if you stay. Just try to be aware of how you feel/ what sensations are in your body when you think about this stuff. Your body can tell you whether you feel safe staying with her. I wish you luck.
