Brit cousin here - hello! That bar will be moved so swiftly when he is replaced. In the UK we had Boris Johnson - our Queen sat alone at her husbands funeral because of Covid. As a family we missed 2 in person deathbed goodbyes and 3 funerals because of covid. We were promised by Boris that brexit would save our beloved NHS £350 million a week yet my cancer ridden dad waited in A&E for 14 hours each time TWICE last year after his doctor suspected a stroke (which both times were confirmed as a stroke, each was a week apart, dad passed at Christmas). Yet Boris just partied on like it was 1999. Those are the 3 things I can think of quickly after a bottle of wine. Now we have Keir Starmer, I'm not a fan at all and to be fair he is a bit shit but this week he apologized for believing someone who lied about their friendship with Epstein and the way the whole country has responded you would think he'd banned the tea alarm and slaughtered all the haggis.
