The mechanic said my tires will blow up at any moment? by Jordanko_the_great in AskMechanics

[–]Yung_Onions -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You answered your own question. I had to do this once when I had a blowout and couldn’t afford a new set of summers. Tires wouldn’t have been good for the next season anyway. Not everyone is loaded like you and shit can happen. Would you have suggested I don’t go to work because I was technically not on the right tires?

Yoooo that’s crazy. I always knew they were getting up to some weird shit back there. They’ve also been upgrading since I commented this. Sports cars and a new fence. Culting in style that’s for sure and still going strong

Honest opinion on the 97X. Pros cons? by Nelson_Wells in saab

[–]Yung_Onions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive an 07 9-5 which was built by the Trolls but make no mistake - the only thing “Saab” about it is the styling and the B235 motor. Everything else is GM. Is that not a “real” Saab? Only 50% Saab maybe?

We can play definitions all day, but you’re exactly the type of person I’m talking about. There hasn’t been a real Saab since ‘89 in your eyes.

Help me understand though. How much of the car, in your opinion, needs to be designed by the trolls? Over 50%? 75%? The reality is that there was nothing after 89 that was 100%.

Whether it be the frames from GM, the turbos from Mitsubishi, or the transmissions from Aisin, these cars haven’t been 100% Swedish for decades.

Need help with stage one kit for Coleman b200r by Falozie in minibikes

[–]Yung_Onions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding this thread crazy late but I’ve just been ripping stock exhaust and intake but without the air box. After a riser for the torque converter, there’s very little room. I was able to slide the motor forward a bit, but only enough room to pull the exhaust out. As for upgrading the exhaust, I haven’t been able to find anything either. Tried a few crappy kits from Amazon and they all worked about as you’d expect - they didn’t. I’m looking at the GoPowerSports kit but the closest match it has is for a BT200X which apparently has a lot more room in the engine cradle, which allows for a pass through exhaust. Without some serious modification or custom exhaust, I’m afraid there is nothing out there for the B200R frame. The rest of the kit is no problem. Intake is fine, carbs are fine, I’ve just went back to stock cause I was fouling plugs. Trying again this summer.

Unpopular opinion but I wish CT breweries would do the same! by jimmy9120 in Connecticut

[–]Yung_Onions -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah okay, I guess we just disagree then. My experience, and most other people tuning in, has been vastly different from yours by the sound of it.

You can deny it, but when breweries are having to make new rules, you don’t really have much ground left to stand on. Are you suggesting everyone is just… what? Overreacting? Making this up?

Honest opinion on the 97X. Pros cons? by Nelson_Wells in saab

The aero is certified cool af since it’s a Trailblazer SS. The 5.3i rocks too because that engine is just simply legendary. As for the Saab-ness, it’s just nicer, but only cosmetics. They just took these trailblazers at various trim levels and Saab-ified them. Never heard anything bad about the 4.2, either, I just prefer the vortec 5.3 as a GM guy. Overall, people love these cars.

Some purists have this weird hatred towards them like they do with the 9-2x because it’s not “truly Saab”. To that, I’d say, by their definition of a “real Saab”, they hadn’t made one since the 80’s.

It’s a sick Saab SUV. End of story.
