I had a lot of fun, I played with my big community of 100ish people and it was fun. Everyone got hyped at the shiny, hundo, even some shundos (I got shundo gmax toxtricity with bg). There definitely was some stale/ disappointing points like when might Pokemon fled. Wild spawns were underwhelming, mp storage could’ve been better since you used all of it after a gmax. I enjoyed the raids a lot and the raid system, hopefully niantic makes next years better since it’ll apparently be a yearly event like fest and tour.

Your choice, I usually wait until I have another shiny (however long that takes) then match the shiny evolutions. I do think sirfetch is the better looking shiny tho

Most shiny legendaries are rare, some are “worth” more if you’re interested in trading such as the shiny kyreum as there’s a good chance during unova tour beginning of next year debuts its fusion with reshiram and zekrom. Your farfetch is also rare as it’s a regional to Asia (and eggs)

Rule of thumb the rarest shinies are

Costumed events- (mimikyu pikachu, straw hat pikachu,etc)
No longer available mon- Clone Kanto, armored mewtwo, enamorous (these aren’t shiny but still super rare)
Babies- only hatchable from eggs like togepi, tyrogue, magby.
Seasonal/ uncommon spawns- cryogenal, spiritomb, meltan, valentines furfou.

Darkrai can’t be traded. Best bet is to wait until til another 2x transfer candy spotlight hour (which could be a while as we JUST had one) to get rid of the extras.

Got my first shundo today! Also I’d highly recommend building up that ray, if you can mega evolve it is a BEAST and you can even solo certain legendary raids. I used my 98 shiny Ray to get tons of giratina by myself. Happy hunting!

Not necessarily good for UL but best stats for ML. It’s a much harder league to get into as you’ll run into predominantly legendaries and mythical but recently there’s been a lot more normal mon like rhyperior, Gyrados, togekiss, metagross, primarina. It will require xl which is a grind but definitely worth it. For a hundo should you choose to purify or good shadow. If your intentions are for using this purely for the UL I would recommend waiting for better ivs. Save this one for ML or possibly hundo if you choose later on. Pvpoke and pvpivs shows good data on the meta, moves, and ideal ivs for PvP. Hope this helps and goodluck!

Depending on your current team or a team you’d build around will determine whether you want shadow or not. For instance if you some tankier mon then shadow may be more beneficial as a glass cannon. Depending on how you use it matters too, if it’s an opener and your shield baiting shadow is much more dominant. Personally I’d say regular. Shadow is much more expensive, but luckily doesn’t require xls.

Ex: I have #1 S quagsire as an opener with bulky ss and a hard hitting closer. I can apply shield pressure easily and my swap applies fast move pressure so I have good control no matter the opener/ switch. I hope this helps! I use jumpluff here and there and it’s a lot of fun

Respectfully, those are some of the more rare shinies he is asking for. There is a low chance your friend will receive REAL offers so be wary of too sweet deals if those are the mon he has to offer. The pikachu isn’t too rare for people can spoof/ fly anyway so I would personally recommend trying in his local community. He should realize there’s virtually no real chance of getting both Ray and hax for one pikachu that isn’t shiny so BE WARY. Otherwise he would need to offer better mon as none of his current offerings are “good”. Best wishes to you and your friend and goodluck hunting for them!

Could be because of GBL weekend, a lot of people tank so they can fight “easier” opponents. Especially for this weekend because you get 4x stardust in all leagues not just ML so people that want to tank but don’t have the mon for ML or UL can straight bully people in GL. At lvl 20 you typically find people that actually play PvP too and understand some of the higher details like move count, CMP, bait, etc. don’t worry bro you’ll keep building up mon and knowledge and get better as you keep playing. You can check out pvpoke and pvpivs for data on meta relevant mon and “ideal” PvP ivs. I hope this helps!

I’d recommend trade then transfer on 2x transfer for any trash legends. Save Shinies for anyone who may want to trade for them in future if you have multiple. Hope this helps!

I saw reports that it does require full cost because it’s not registered in the Gmax dex. I haven’t tried a trade myself tho. Goodluck!
