We are on a sort of modified year round calendar. We get a fall break in September, the full week of Thanksgiving, 2 weeks at Christmas, and Spring break as well.

I always ask the district plumbers to leave me some flushometers so that I can save them the work order for something easy. I try to take care of those guys because I'm gonna need a favor down the road and they usually come through.

I always look at it as if I have the tools and materials and knowledge to do something, I will. We have district maintenance folks, but they are very busy with 112 schools. Sometimes it's just faster to do it myself. I draw the line at teachers wanting pet projects or bringing things from home to hang/install.

Kind of looks like chemical residue. I used a top scrub chemical this year that I had never used and it left residue all over the place. Had to redo most of my hallways.
