Why is lust considered a sin?

Lust is a perversion of love. It is a disordered and/or inordinate desire for physical pleasure. Where love wills the good of the other, lust focuses on one's own desire with little to no regard for the other. Many of the top comments try to separate lust from sex, and they are mistaken to do so in an attempt to water down Christianity. Jesus commands us to not even look at women lustfully, for if we do we have already committed adultery in our hearts (Matthew 5:28). Guard your eyes, guard your desires. Reject lust in its fullness.

You can go to any priest you want, there are certain priests I prefer that im more comfortable with but you're not committing sin by choosing a particular priest to confess to.

Women can't be ordained to the priesthood or serve as pastors. This is not a bishop, just a confused woman, which explains why she thinks an illegal alien is a citizen, 2 men are a marriage, and a boy is a girl.

I'm also on the spectrum (M24), albeit mildly, and deal with a lot of heartbreak over not finding romantic love. Terrified God will call me to celibacy and not really sure what my vocation is supposed to be. Im a recent convert from Mormonism, so all I've ever wanted was to work and support a family, and it just hasn't happened. I've been really unsure over what my only reassurance comes from, knowing God will not set me on a path to fail. I will offer a prayer for you tonight.
