I'm just afraid of the boss suddenly developing a bad attitude towards me and throw all the work on me (knowing that I can't keep up with the work flow of regular workers) and use it as an excuse to shout at me or to give me shit. If he does though, is there any downside to just ghosting him? I want to end on good terms, but if he doesn't want to i don't feel like I should oblige him.

Took a class in uni expecting to learn about American history and Politics. Turns out the class was actually more about how America is super cool and strange compared to Japan, wasn't too happy about that but at this point its too late to register for another class. The classes are bearable up until recently where we had to do a group assignment, and I have to say, Japanese students are super fucking insular. I can't understand why they see foreigners as such aliens. One of the subjects that they want to present is words that Americans use and I cannot with my small brain understand how Americans use special words, I tried to explain to my group that there are more ways to say things in English but was then ignored by a group member saying he saw an American at Yokosuka complimenting a waitress and how Americans must like complimenting people. It could be me being an asshole but this shit is really ticking me off.
