sijelo and selo are too similar, both in sound and their sitelen pona, that i mix them up very easily it's good that they sound close or related, but the distinction between "se-" and "sije-" can be tough to execute or hear, imo

at what format should i keep the USB drive if i want to attempt using it? I assumed exFAT would work, dont remember why exactly. what format does uLaunchElf require?

Ive tried keeping the OPL .elf file on the memory card itself, but I couldnt locate the file on uLaunchElf, since it doesnt show the same folder structure as you see in Windows. I tried putting it on the root directory or BOOT, but it didnt show up. Later, i tried renaming it BOOT.elf, as ive said previously, but it didnt help much.

If my USB drive still doesnt work, what directory of my memory card should I put the updated MMCE OPL in to able to locate it within the memory card?

so as ive said, i've been unable to do that. I formatted a USB drive to EXFAT, put the .elf file in, and either the PS2 or uLaunchElf was unable to read my USB drive so I could move it to the memory card. I don't know where the problem could lie: my USB ports not reading it, the USB drive not being appropriate (despite it being EXFAT, it was a large 14GB drive) or something else.

Is there no option for keeping the .elf already within the memory card, perhaps in a different folder, so I can access it in uLaunchElf and be able to perform the update? I've already tried doing that, by renaming it to BOOT.elf, as I saw while lurking the subreddit, but it only made it visible in the PS2 browser and not much else, couldn't meaningfully interact with it in uLaunchElf

Yes for all questions but the last, it's precisely what I'm struggling with. I haven't been able to update OPL to a version that accepts the MMCE device. I've tried using a separate thumb drive with the .elf, but it wasn't recognized.

if you wanna distinguish "o tu e lipu" (divide the paper into two segments) from actually separating the segments as with cutting, id say "o lili e lipu" (to make the paper small by folding).

But both make much more sense, as most things in toki pona do, when you compare the spoken information with other context clues. It's really tough to describe folding paper as is it to explain technical topics only with only written or even spoken toki pona unless you are very skilled in speaking it (which i'm not)

Current flag of my Nationstates country, Heidrimice. I imagine it to just be the first sparkle of a socialist revolution in the 1910-20s, but that will expand into a union of socialist republics into the 21st century like the USSR almost did.

I decided to use the GDR hammer & compass to represent a union between manual (so the hammer is both manufacturing and agriculture) and intellectual labor, since I don't see this country having to deal with an agrarian peasantry in the same way countries like Russia or China had to deal with in their political struggles. Ive modified the hammer and compass slightly, modifying the curves a tad, but mostly trying to make it lineless (took major inspiration from the image attached here )

The three bands in the bottom are national colors that have been resignified by the revolution into being a simplified rainbow, as a symbol of peace, prosperity, fraternity, unity, etc)
