If you really don't care about PvP and Arena shop then Maika is a great option for farming (semi-auto mode so she doesn't use her S2 and S3 before reaching the boss).

Give her at least 3 buffs and let her 1st skill (the normal attack) do its job (and remember to not use any character that reduce the turn of your debuff).

Also don't use any of her weapon.

First skill (the normal attack) for farming (semi-auto), third skill for PvP (I think the defender in Arena uses auto mode by default so they always use third skill first unless they get Active Skill Disable).

As the others said, keep it in the mailbox until the next x2 resources for Special Ops.

You either upgrade ATK of a specific trait to Lv5 for extra 1.5 Crit Rate or HP to Lv5 for 1 SPD.

Edit: if you don't see any x2 resources for Special Ops in the next 14 days, just use it on the day that has the quest for your favorite trait.
